9: Death (Neil Gaiman's Sandman)

Feb 15, 2007 17:04

Because I haven't drawn a dramatic dress in ages.

Character is Death of Neil Gaiman's Sandman series, done in smelly black markers and touched up liek whoa in GIMP. Disregard the ugly hands gloves.

Smile! )

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Latin_Doll Art! :-D Yay! :-D
<*grins like an idiot*>

Note 1: I *really* like the face you gave her. The eyes and quirk you gave to the mouth are just perfect. :-D

Note 2: <*ignores the right hand*> Left hand looks just fine, to me. :-)

Note 3: Big shock: I like the dress. :-) (Mmm... Dramatic dresses... :-) Question is this related to the scene where she pops out of the picture for the Family Meeting and Dream's all like "You could have dressed up, y'know, this is kind of important", so she changes her clothes?
Or did it just pop into your head? :-)

Also: Funky hairdo. :-) I likes it. :-)

- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-D

Thank you :D

Let's just not talk about the hands. Or, wait, let's. Your left or Death's?*

(*This is a question that had to be asked.)

Also, this is exactly the scene that started off the whole dramatic dresses business.

One should really draw Death in all ages, though, not only Victorian and postmodern. (omg Woodstock!Death)

Er... Hers? <*is presumeably too innocent and naive -- or ignorant -- to understand why said question had to be asked.*>

Re: Dramatic Dress: I figured. :-)

Hey, your picture inspired something. :-)

Re: Woodstock Death: Heehee. :-) That would be fun to see. :-) <*hints in an obvious way*> :-)

Eee, ficlet! Lovely :D Shit, not another drawing bunny...

Er... Hers? <*is presumeably too innocent and naive -- or ignorant -- to understand why said question had to be asked.*>

So, Amazon, how many times have you asked people, "your left or Death's?"?

Have drawn Woodstock!Death, um. Am not near a scanner, which might quite possibly be a good thing.

Re: Drawing Bunny: Haha! Yes! :-D Reciprocal insperation. How wonderful it is. :-)

Re: "Your left or Death's?": Never! I don't understand! (You really have *no* idea how absurdly distraught this is making me. None at all. ... Or, then again, possibly you do, and are having a good laugh about it. Er... Hm. :-P)

Re: Woodstock!Death: Looking forward to seeing it. :-D Is there tie-dye involved? ;-)

It's actually not all that funny. Just, y'know, "your left or Death's?". Know what I mean?

Re: Woodstock!Death: Looking forward to seeing it. :-D Is there tie-dye involved? ;-)

Yes.

Re: "Your left or Death's": See, that's the problem. I *don't* know what you mean. Is it a reference to something? Is it like being asked "Your place or mine?" Only really wierd? I'm really honestly, truly, completely out of my depth here. It's not a case of not getting the joke.
It's a case of me asking "What is 4+4?" and you answering "Yes, Nietzche does have yellow spots".
I litterally do not understand (comprehend, grok, or otherwise fathom) the reason why the question "had to be asked".
Ack!
Please, please, please clarify!
I'm clearly going insane... <*goes to eat another persimmon, because they are so yummy*>

:D

No really, there's no point. I just thought, "your left or Death's?" is a bit... uncommon. Y'know imagine a context in which "Nietzsche does have yellow spots" makes perfect sense. On it's own, it's hilariously out there.

Yes? No? Are we all desensitised to these things?

Yes...

<*twiddles fingers nervously*>
<*eyes the latin_doll*>

... I think...

:-D

Re: Desensitised: Er... Oh dear... I think you may have lost me again. <*shakes head*> I can be so dense some times. :-)
