Puppy Power

It has a whole new meaning for me. She widdled in the house a couple of times yesterday and I had my mop on standby. When I came to use it this morning I found the plastic sponge head had sort of melted....eeew.

I got up at 5am after I heard a crash outside. I thought maybe the pond had collapsed too, after the night of wind and rain we've had. It was fine - just a garden chair fallen down. It meant I was up in time to see Seamus the cat who came in the kitchen crying. I haven't seem him for 3 days (although his food has been dissappearing at night) so I was anxious to reopen realtions with him. When he saw the puppy he just freaked again and ran out into the rain. So I crated the puppy and went out to look for him. After calling for him a while he replied from the conifers down by the bins and we had a cuddle.

The last few times I have tried to carry him in he has just fought me off, so I took off ny dressing gown and wrapped him up in it and brought him in. He was calm when he saw the pup was locked away. I fed him and petted him and eventually he went upstairs and is still sleeping on my bed. I do hope he comes around to the new regime soon.
