From Leeds
Hi!!
I'm the worst person ever, I haven't updated sice like two weeks... But there is a reason: Leeds. I had some problems with my modules (some are not solved yet), I had several farewell parties, I had to fly, to take a train in the plataform 9 -3/4... That was until tuesday. From tuesday to saturday I haven't updated because I had to settle in my room, I had to find a bus to go from Bodington (where I live) to Uni, I had to meet spanish people, italian, french... ¿And british people? They came today!
Do you understand why I haven't uploaded before?
I have been busy but I have had a great time here. First we met a group of spanish people and we went together to the city centre and to the orientation programmes that every international student have. Yesterday we went to a city and campus tour XD I think that Leeds Uni campus is bigger than the village where I live XD And the city.. I dont know, it's huge! Probably I have been to just a 10% of the whole city.. But we know where are the important things: Morrisons (supermarket), Primark (great) and the shop street XD The city is beautiful, I like it; and the campus... The faculties are like houses! It's so funny XD The best building is the Leeds University Union because you go inside and there are like galeries where you can find a supermarket, restaurants, game shops, posters shops, even an optics XD Amazing.
People here is so friendly. If they see you lost they'll help you, students come to you and they talk to you with no problem, that's so cool! I met a guy in the bus who told me that in North England people are more friendly than in the south; and today another guy from Liverpool has said the same, so it must be true XD
My residence: It's far from the Uni but it doesn't matter because Bodington Hall is like a little village XD We have a shop, bar, game room, common room.. And if we want to go to the Uni o to the city centre we have buses from the residence reception so perfect. I didn't went out these nights because I was alone in my house (with a subwarden) and I was very tired, but as today I met people and I'm not tired anymore tomorrow we are going to a welcome party in the Union ^^

Btw, posters you can admire in my walls: Chat Noir (a b-day present three years ago); Ministry of Silly Walks (Wilsy's b-day present for me); and then those two I bought in the Union, one of the best photos of Friends and... the picture that Monica Geller has in her house over the TV!! I know, I'm a geek, but I saw the poster and I had to buy it.
