Summary: Because everyone knows that Kagome and Sesshomaru are very rare creatures, indeed.(Jumps quite a bit from my last post, but I wanted the Finale prompt to be the end of my story.)


And so, the Shikon Miko, Kagome Higurashi, and the Aristocratic Assassin, Sesshomaru no Taisho, were finally married. After two marriage attempts, quite a few assassination attempts, and their fair share of arguments, everyone was happy.

(Well, everyone except for those who had gotten in the way of the eager-to-wed couple.)

But, really, what more would you expect from the unlikeliest of pairings? They were of a rare breed: the kind who fight for their own fate, instead of following a divine path. The kind without death as a finale, merely a breath of a pause to find each other again.
