Kagome watched hungrily as Sesshoumaru’s lips pressed small, feather-light nibbles in a precise, straight line. Lips, teeth, and fangs worked harmoniously to lap at the thin coat of dark chocolate, his tongue darting out of his mouth every so often to take a small flick at the sweet. A satisfied purr rumbled deep in his chest, and Kagome could not only see his utter contentment, but feel it in the air as well. Sesshoumaru took a long, sensuous swipe at the chocolate with a slow lick of his tongue, and Kagome nearly groaned at the sight.
As he licked and bit his way through the chocolate coating in a leisurely manner, Kagome felt her impatience grow. Could he go any slower? she thought with growing anxiety. When it became apparent Sesshoumaru was not going to increase his pace, Kagome could stand it no more.
“All right, I give!” she cried. “You win!”
Sesshoumaru paused in his ministrations, licking his lips clean of the chocolate as his gold eyes glanced up at her. A smirk tilted his lips. “Say it.”
Kagome huffed indignantly with an air of wounded pride. Grudgingly, she sullenly, quietly declared, “Sesshoumaru-sama loves pocky more than I do.”
