previous:
Days of Wonder Changmin barely managed to tear himself away from the sight of Heechul and Junsu having sex in the showers of the soccer team, but when he did, he felt he needed to get away from there, as soon and as far as possible.
It didn't make sense that he felt hurt, like they were cheating on him. It was ridiculous, but the pain was real. He felt excluded.
He liked Junsu and Heechul the most. He couldn't decide which one of them he preferred to the other. It hadn't mattered because they both seemed to love him. But now they wouldn't need him anymore, would they?
He wanted to contact Kyuhyun, as a form of revenge or for comforting or.. he didn't know. He couldn't do that yet. First he needed to curl up in a dark, quiet place and calm himself down.
There would be people in the library, so he went back to the dorms. There had been no one else in their room when he left it, and he hoped he'd still find it empty so he could close the curtains and curl up in his bed without anyone asking questions.
The curtains were already closed. This probably meant there was someone here. He didn't dare to turn on the light so after he'd closed the door behind him, he stood in complete darkness until his eyes got used to it and he could see that Yoochun's bed was occupied.
Jaejoong and Yoochun were wrapped up in each other's arms. One of Jaejoong's legs was slung over Yoochun's body. Changmin couldn't see them clearly, but he could hear them kissing.
They probably knew he was there, but they didn't show it. Changmin went to his own bed and lay down, face pressed into the pillow. It didn't take long before the mattress dipped and someone leaned over him.
"Did something happen, Min-ah?" Jaejoong asked. Changmin felt Yoochun sit down on the other side of him. He made a sound that wasn't really a confirmation or a denial.
Fingers, probably Jaejoong's, brushed his hair behind his ear, but Changmin kept his face down. "Did Kangin try something again?" Jaejoong asked. "I did tell him we were going to beat him up so bad if he dared to hurt you."
Changmin turned his head, to breathe and to answer. "Not Kangin. Nothing wrong, just.. bad day."
Jaejoong stretched out next to him and hugged him. Yoochun mirrored the movement. Changmin didn't mind being in the middle of a JaeChun sandwich. It was warm and comfortable and he felt safe. But he didn't like that they reminded him of Heechul and Junsu.
"I do think he will not give up this easily though," Jaejoong continued about Kangin. "You need to warn us as soon as you sense any danger." He pressed a kiss to Changmin's cheek. Yoochun's hand was slowly rubbing his back.
"I will." Changmin sighed and rolled over, giving in to their touches. He was probably too easy, but it felt good.
"Do you need us to make you forget about your bad day?" Yoochun asked. It was the first thing he said. When they were together, Jaejoong usually did the talking.
"Just a kiss," Changmin said. He wasn't really in the mood for more, but a distracting kiss would be nice.
Jaejoong and Yoochun exchanged a look, smiled and both pressed their lips to a corner of Changmin's mouth. It felt funny, being kissed by two people at the same time. Changmin had to smile.
"That's better," Jaejoong said.
"You're irresistible when you smile," Yoochun added, and he kissed him again. Jaejoong's lips found his cheek this time, and moved down to his neck. Yoochun teased him with a hint of tongue, but pulled away when Changmin opened his mouth and tilted his head to demand more. They quickly switched positions and Jaejoong swallowed his protest.
One hand was rubbing circles over his chest, another stroked his stomach. Changmin had lifted his own hands and was weakly holding Yoochun and Jaejoong by their shirts, just to show that he liked what they were doing and didn't want them to go anywhere.
Jaejoong was really kissing him now, passionate but gentle. Changmin didn't know what Yoochun was doing until he felt something warm and wet against his ear. It tickled and he squirmed. One of the hands moved to his shoulder to hold him still.
It was bearable when Yoochun was just licking and nibbling at the shell of his ear, but when the tip of his tongue slid deeper, Changmin cried out and pushed them away, Jaejoong too.
Yoochun laughed. "Sensitive, isn't it?"
Changmin rubbed his ear and pouted. He had been enjoying everything so much, why did his ear have to be so ticklish?
"I hate when he does that to me," Jaejoong said. "I usually punch him. But we'll punish him later." He leaned down and kissed Changmin like nothing had interrupted them.
Changmin relaxed again, melting at the touch of Jaejoong's lips and closing his eyes. He tensed a bit when he felt that Yoochun was coming closer too, but it was just to press a kiss to his cheek and then one just below his ear.
"I won't do it again," Yoochun whispered, "trust me." He took Changmin's earlobe between his lips, licked along the edge and blew cold air over it.
Changmin shivered. That actually felt really good, good enough to distract him from Jaejoong's tongue. Jaejoong noticed and kissed him a bit more aggressively, to get his attention back.
Changmin should have known it wouldn't stop at just a kiss with these two. They weren't doing much beside kissing him, that was true, their hands were never below his waist and always on top of his clothes, and yet he was so hard.
He moaned softly when Jaejoong lowered his body on top of his. There was no sliding or rolling of hips, but just the pressure on his erection made his head go light.
"Are you going to come just from us kissing you?" Yoochun asked.
Changmin thought he might come just from Yoochun whispering things like that into his ear.
"Come, Minnie, it's obvious that you need to. Your body is begging for it." Yoochun's lips brushed Changmin's ear with every word. It tickled and Changmin wanted to turn his head away, but that would mean breaking his kiss with Jaejoong.
"I bet your cock is straining in your pants right now. Is it leaking and twitching for us?"
Changmin let out a long, shuddering moan. He needed to come, he really did. If they could just touch him, just the slide of a single finger would get him off right now. But just..
He moved his hips, pressing up against Jaejoong. Jaejoong reacted by pushing his thigh between Changmin's legs, but after that he stayed still and focused on their kiss. Changmin had to move, rub against him.
"You're so beautiful," Yoochun whispered. Fingers brushed through Changmin's hair and a hand stroked his neck and slid down his chest. "Are you going to come for us?"
Changmin moaned and whimpered into Jaejoong's mouth. He almost bit down on their tongues when the now slick fabric of his boxers rubbed against the head of his cock in just the right way, but Jaejoong didn't seem to mind and didn't pull away.
"Come," Yoochun said again, voice low and husky, and this time it was enough to push him over the edge.
Changmin bucked his hips wildly and cried out, body shaking. He came in his pants and his orgasm left him gasping for air. Jaejoong thankfully give him space to breathe.
"Beautiful," Yoochun said, with a last kiss to his cheek. Jaejoong hummed in agreement and playfully held onto Changmin's lower lip for a while as he pulled back.
Changmin felt them move away and heard them kiss and moan as they pleasured each other, but his eyelids were too heavy to let him look. He just lay on his back, trying to catch his breath.
"That was quite the show," a deep voice said to his left.
His eyes snapped open at that. When had Yunho come in? He hadn't noticed anything.
Yunho brushed Changmin's hair out of his eyes and smiled down at him. He didn't seem bothered by the sounds of JaeChun's lovemaking from the other side of the room.
"How was your date?" Changmin asked. "Aren't you back early?"
Yunho kept smiling. "We're taking it slow. I really like her. This afternoon was fun, but I'm not going to spend a night with her so soon."
Was that how it works? If you really care you don't go for the sex immediately? Did that mean that his roommates didn't really care about him?
"Oh no, Min, don't over think that. If I remember correctly, JaeChun's relationship started out as casual sex, and look at them now."
JaeChun were having sex that moment, but Changmin knew what Yunho meant. There was definitely more between them.
But that made him think about Heechul and Junsu again, and how there seemed to be more between them too now. And that made him sad.
"Take a quick shower," Yunho said, still stroking his hair, "it's almost time for dinner."
Junsu and Heechul were at dinner, with a considerable distance between them and acting like nothing had happened. They seemed much more interested in Changmin than in each other. Changmin thought he might be going crazy.
"We totally made him come just by kissing him," Jaejoong said. He was leaning against Yoochun's shoulder. They were being very obvious, and yet there were no strange reactions from the students around them. Most of them would be afraid to be beaten up of course.
Changmin still felt embarrassed when they talked about sex so openly. A teacher could hear. He also didn't like how that sounded like making him come was some sort of game, or a competition.
He knew they didn't mean it like that. JaeChun were nice and all they'd done was distract him when he'd looked a bit sad. He'd made no effort to stop them. They'd even asked permission.
Even so, he felt that he would never mean as much to them as they meant to each other. And he didn't like that.
They all went back to their room together, but Changmin stayed behind and took his phone out of his pocket.
When he came in, a few minutes after the others, Junsu wanted a hug ('because I've barely seen you today') and Heechul was sitting in his corner but sent him very inviting looks.
Changmin more or less ignored them, said he was tired and went to bed, with his back turned to all of them. This hadn't been the fun Sunday he'd hoped for.
Changmin was nervous. 'Meet me tomorrow after classes, by the big tree next to the chemistry lab' Kyuhyun had said. That was a date, wasn't it?
He had no physics today, so he didn't see Kyuhyun before that. He only caught a glimpse of him during lunch, but he sat with his roommates, which meant an invisible wall separated him from everyone else.
His roommates were all wondering why he was acting differently, and especially Heechul and Junsu seemed worried. Normally Changmin would be touched by that, but now he could only see them together, in the shower, kissing, without him.
Junsu looked shocked when he touched his arm and Changmin flinched. "Min, what happened to you?"
"Have we done something wrong?" Jaejoong asked.
Changmin shook his head. "It's nothing. I just have a lot of homework. I'm a bit stressed, that's all." He didn't know why he couldn't tell them about Kyuhyun.
Maybe he was afraid that if he got all excited about his date and it turned out to be a disaster, it would be even more painful if he'd told others about it.
"We'll leave you alone for the rest of the day," Yunho said. "We don't want your grades to drop because of us." They didn't seem happy with that but they all agreed.
Changmin made sure he didn't run into one of them after his final class. They would probably think he was in the library.
Kyuhyun was already waiting for him. He smiled when he saw Changmin approach. Changmin lowered his head and clenched his hands around the sleeves of his uniform jacket. He didn't know what to say or what would happen next.
"Hi," Kyuhyun said, smiling encouragingly. "I'm glad you came."
"Hi," Changmin said. Luckily he didn't have to say anything else because Kyuhyun started talking.
"I should have planned something amazing in the city, but then we'd have to wait till Saturday or Sunday and I was too excited that you called me so.. I hope you don't mind if we just go for a walk here?"
Changmin quickly shook his head. "I don't mind."
"I'm glad," Kyuhyun let out a relieved breath and then there was a short silence.
"Are you nervous?" Kyuhyun asked.
Changmin nodded. It was hard to look into Kyuhyun's eyes for too long. "I've never been on a.." wait.. was this really a date? Could he call it that?
"On a date before?" Kyuhyun finished his sentence. "Me neither, to be honest.. I mean, not with a boy.. and that one time with a girl was so long ago it doesn't really count."
Changmin looked up, surprised. Kyuhyun seemed so confident, the way he had just walked up to him and given him his number for example.
"Um.. shall we.. walk?" Kyuhyun asked. It was the first time Changmin noticed that he did sound a bit nervous.
The trees were turning warm colours and a blanket of fallen leaves already covered the ground. They followed a small path around the pond at the centre of the school grounds, and then walked between two buildings to a quiet corner with more trees, near the edge of the area within the fence.
Changmin hadn't had a chance to explore his surroundings thoroughly yet, and on his own he probably wouldn't have anyway. He was usually happy to stay in a quiet corner of the library with a book until the day was over. Not because he hated being outside though.
He mostly let Kyuhyun talk about himself. It wasn't annoying. It was nice to listen to him and Changmin liked him immediately. It turned out that Kyuhyun was just as young as he was, and got into this school for the same reason. Though Kyuhyun excelled in physics and chemistry in particular while Changmin was more of a math person.
They shared an interest in foreign languages and reading, which made them all-round geniuses to others. That got a bit annoying at times, being idolised or misunderstood, so Changmin was glad he finally had someone to really talk to. He would just have to gather the courage to talk back.
They didn't meet many other students on their walk. Maybe it was because the weather was growing colder and the wind was a bit chilly today.
"Are you getting cold?" Kyuhyun suddenly asked, in the middle of a story about being teased by his older sister. And when Changmin was about to shake his head he added: "Because I am."
"A bit," Changmin admitted. But this was nice, he didn't want it to be over yet.
"I want to show you something," Kyuhyun said. "It will be warm there."
Kyuhyun led him to a small building behind the gym. Changmin had never seen it before. Kyuhyun opened the door for him and followed him into a long hallway lined with doors. There were lots of posters on the walls. It was probably the most colourful place of the school, if you didn't count the trees right now.
"This is a place for the clubs that don't really matter," Kyuhyun said, "our soccer team and choir are famous, but no one cares for mediocre chess players or the manga fan club."
"What club are you in?" Changmin asked.
Kyuhyun smiled."I told you I like to read." He took a key from his pocket and opened a door that was painted to look like a bookshelf. The small room behind it was like a tiny library, stuffed with books and very cosy with couches and pillows to sit on.
Changmin loved it. "Why didn't I know about these clubs?"
"I guess no one bothered to tell you," Kyuhyun said. "But you can still join if you want. We only have eight members, there's room for you."
"What do you do?" Changmin asked.
"Read, discuss books, read more. It's very laid back," Kyuhyun said. "Most of us are busy studying."
Changmin walked along a shelf that reached to the ceiling. "I'd love to."
When he turned around he saw that Kyuhyun was looking at him. He looked away immediately when he saw that he was caught. "I'm sorry if I was staring, it's just.. I'm glad you like it. I'd like to see you more often."
"Can I sit?" Changmin asked, turning around to hide his silly smile.
"Of course," Kyuhyun said, waving his arm, "anywhere you want. You can pick any book too. Do you want hot chocolate?"
"You have hot chocolate?"
"The best part about this building," Kyuhyun said, "there's a machine at the end of the hallway. I'll be right back."
Changmin found a book that he'd already read and liked and sat down on a couch. Soon his mind was in the story, and it wasn't that he didn't hear Kyuhyun come back, but he didn't pay attention to it until he felt him sit down right next to him.
"I like that one too," Kyuhyun said. He held out a cup. "Careful, it's really hot."
Changmin put down the book and warmed his hands first.
"You haven't told me much about yourself yet," Kyuhyun said. "You don't have to," he quickly added, "but I feel like I'm talking too much."
"You're not," Changmin reassured him. "I'm just very boring, so I prefer to listen."
Kyuhyun wouldn't believe that he was boring, so he got Changmin to talk about his family, his previous school, the books he liked and finally about how this school was treating him so far. Of course, Changmin left a lot of details out of that part. Talking was surprisingly easy. Kyuhyun made him feel comfortable.
"I watched you in class," Kyuhyun said. "You look tired a lot, and weren't you sick during your first week? And are your roommates treating you well?" He sounded genuinely concerned.
"I'm fine," Changmin said with a little smile that he hoped was reassuring, "I'm getting used to it now. And my roommates are really nice when you get to know them."
"Just tell me if you need help with anything," Kyuhyun said. "You can always call or text me."
"Thank you," Changmin said. He noticed that Kyuhyun was watching him again, from very close this time. He wasn't sure what to do. He was about to pick up the book again but changed his mind, turned his head and pecked Kyuhyun's lips.
Kyuhyun seemed very, very surprised, but not in a bad way. Changmin was worried that it had been too soon anyway, but then Kyuhyun moved a little closer, as if asking him to do it again.
Their lips touched a little longer this time, still a bit clumsy and awkward, but soft and exciting. Kyuhyun was smiling when he pulled back. Changmin's heart beat a bit faster than usual.
Changmin then did what he'd gotten used to doing the past few weeks, he pressed his body closer to Kyuhyun's and moved in for another kiss.
Hands at his shoulders held him back.
"Don't you think we're moving a bit fast?" Kyuhyun asked.
Changmin sat back down and tried not to let the hurt show on his face.
"I don't mean I don't want to.. I mean.. I want to be close to you, but you don't have to.. we can get to know each other better first." Kyuhyun tilted his head and tried to get Changmin to look at him. "Okay?"
Changmin nodded.
Kyuhyun moved a hand through his hair and sighed. "I feel like I ruined the mood. I'm sorry."
"You didn't do anything." Changmin hid behind his book.
"I'll take you on a real date on Saturday.. if you want to," Kyuhyun said. "To make it up to you."
Changmin nodded.
Junsu was sitting on Changmin's bed. Heechul was in the room too, listening to music, but he pulled his headphones off when Changmin came in.
"Where have you been?" Junsu asked. "I went to check up on you in the library, but you weren't there and no one had seen you."
"He's asking because he's been worried," Heechul said, "not to sound like your father. I think."
Changmin knew only one way to avoid or at least postpone having to answer their questions. He climbed onto the bed with Junsu and straddled his lap, wrapping his arms around his neck. "I missed you, hyung."
He was still a bit frustrated since Kyuhyun had refused him. Maybe his roommates had given him a twisted idea of how sex works, but that wasn't his fault.
Kyuhyun wasn't officially his boyfriend yet, was he? So this didn't count as cheating, right?
It was also true that he'd missed Junsu. He couldn't stay mad at him forever. He'd have to ask what was going on between him and Heechul, or ignore it. Maybe the latter. He hadn't really seen them together since the incident in the shower.
Junsu's arms went around him and he tilted his head for a kiss, which Junsu gave him. The question seemed forgotten just like Changmin had hoped.
"Hyung?"
Junsu hummed.
"Will you teach me how to suck cock?"
