I'm living in the land down under!
We've decided to call our house "The Land Down Under" because that song makes us so happy. There are some Australian guys who live in the back unit of the house who might have an opinion about that. lol It would be funnier if we lived in the basement unit.
It's been a long time since I actually sat down and wrote about life. Lately, it seems all I've had time to do was post little snippets of "OMG FUCK LIT CRIT" or something like that.
It's true I've been doing a lot of work lately, and also a lot of work. It seems when I have the most to do, it's when I really really really want to do everything but work. So I'm nearly finished with my second arm warmer to go with my Aquabat set. I hated the other set I made. I just wanted to try a really intricate pattern and it didn't work well with the stripes at all, so I'm doing a simple pattern that looks nice. Lena finished making one mitten and it looks great, so I'm going to borrow the pattern she used and make my own. Em and I will also buy some yarn and she said she'll make us mittens for free just because she loves to make them.
And - gasp - I've been hitting the gym lately! Half an hour on the eliptical; I find myself getting less tired after the work out every time I do it. Today I didn't need to take a break and I don't feel dead right now so it seems to be working!
I'm working my ASS off on this lit theory essay! It's due the same day Kim comes to Kingston. That will be so rewarding. Hand in death theory essay, come home to Kimbo!! I miss that kid so much. I had so much fun with her this summer. We saw each other once a month which is the most I've ever seen her ever. Yeah, so you guys who grew up with your best friend next door... you better appreciate that.
The Saturday after Halloween, there's a football game because apparently the Queen's Golden Gaels are kickin' ass!! I think it's the semi-finals? Anyway... tickets for sale, I'm gonna buy 2 and take Kim.
A different paper is due on Monday, though. FUCK! But it's like 600 words, that's hardly anything to worry about. I can pull it off. Besides, when Kim and I get together, we usually just sit and read. Hahaha! :] I'm sure there will be a few Starbucks visits in there, as well as an Indigo run. I think I will take her to an indie cafe too because we have some nice ones.
On the 25th, Stars are playing at a church here. I am so going, and so are Lena, Em, Amy and Kelsey! This will be my first concert. :]
Oh hey, I cleaned the bath tub today. :] I feel good and productive.
