[for Ronon]
There was a leak in the roof of her... hut, yurt, whatever this thing was. There was a little puddle of melted snow right on top of her bed, and her hut was small enough that there was really nowhere to move the bed that it would be away from the leak. So, the only thing to do was go up on the roof and fix it.
That was not something that Jennifer was exactly looking forward to. It meant climbing a ladder and going up on the roof, which was not exactly something she was dying to do, since heights always made her vertigo act up. But Ronon had said she'd turned herself into the Wraith in his timeline--if she could do something like that, then surely she could go up on a stupid roof and fix a leak? She'd even gone across a rope bridge with a sprained ankle, for heaven's sake. A roof was nothing.
There were tools and a ladder in the compound, and after she collected them, she made herself climb the ladder and edge her way out to the middle of the roof.
And that was when she started to get dizzy. Stupid vertigo.
