The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian? Epic. Hahaha, though I must admit that I'm not so freakishly fangurlish about it, not coffeehigh!spasming over it like I obviously did for Speed Racer and Iron Man XD But yes, it was good, and it was bad ass.
Tee Hee~! As much as Edmund pissed me off with his kurang ajar attitude back in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, he was truly my fav in this, dun mess. Honestly - the boys. Though Peter and Caspian were all butting heads with their egos filling up the entire screen, I think that it gave tons of wicked ass tension scenes and (if I can recall properly) it was correct to the book. EDMUND (haha, this may have some relation to how much I heart EdOMND Dantes), he was all 'yeah I can beat you up' and it was lover-lyyy <333 He had so much control and confidence in what he knew was right and in his actions, compared to but-I-am-High-King!Peter, which was just so full of yay and rapid hand clappings ^O^
AND YEAH, REEPICHEEP :DDDD He was bad ass in the book, and bad ass in the movie. He might have possibly stolen the show, with his awesome, awesome Jerry-ness and they actually topped it off with a Tom XD *hearts* Does he beat Puss in Boots of Shrek? I personally think so, but props to Puss in Boots for doing the magic eyes + purr to win his fights.
The movie was actually, basically, battle after battle, and even though I noe that the epicness makes the movie, I can't help but think that there wasn't enough deep character development or story involved, especially for Caspian. He really didn't do much besides being angsty and all good looking *pouts* Not forgetting, what I think was such unecessary and out-of-place looks between Susan and Caspian. Though I'm bloody excited to see more of him in the next one, and bloody well glad that Edmund will still be around :'D
ASLAN T.T WHY SO LITTLE?? YOU CAME IN MUCH EARLIER IN THE BOOK (WITH MORE ACTUAL APPEARANCE) STRUTTING AROUND IN YOUR MAGICAL I-CAN-KILL-YOU-IF-I-WANT-TO PRESENCE =O= BUT NO MATTER. I HAVE YOUR IMAGE ON A SHOT GLASS.
(absent-mindedly wonders if Simba could beat up Aslan)
Well to wrap things up - my fav parts? All the parts with Edmund, the stealth infiltration of the castle (before everything went haywire) and the one-on-one between Peter and King Miraz (it was cool and slightly reminiscent of the Brad Pitt and the King yelling RESPITE RESPITE was freaking hilarious). I'm sure there's more, but these stand out the most *nyahahaha*
Oh, and just one more thing...They drew their swords and sheathed them again a lot in the movie. No kidding. It was cool nonetheless.
Another movie down! MORE TO COME :'D *forsees a lot of capslocking and incoherent ramblings*
