Weekly The Television (14-Dec-'18) ☃❄
Hi. So this one's way back Dec. 2018. I haven't actually found an HQ scan of the pages so I'll only translate the Member x Member part (where they described each other).
I'm thinking of translating a few more 6nin interviews then I'll start focusing on 9nin (so I could get used to them)... I might browse older interviews and translate some in the future, but right now I'm still not mentally and emotionally ready for that..
Iwamoto ↔️ Fukazawa
Hikaru: Fukka is the oldest member, a pacifist who gives off a relaxing feeling. He's a kind person who doesn't get mad no matter what, so he's loved both by his seniors and juniors. He's like the mascot in our group.
Fukka: In any case, he's stoic. You can see it by just looking at his muscles, right! It's amazing. I think he's strict to himself. Because, you know, it's easy to lose the muscle you've built and you won't be able to maintain it if you skip even just for a day.
Miyadate ↔️ Watanabe
Date: Shota has an image of being a very shy person, one who easily gets embarrassed, and one who keeps on grinning. He's good at acting spoilt even to our members. So during those times I'm like, "okay, okay!" (laughs) the way he said it is like he'll give in to Shota's demand
Shota: his character is a nobleman and a royalty. I think he's a strong person to be able to say sweet words, whether he's being serious or just playing around. His character is well done, but in reality, his head is a bit... (laughs)
Sakuma ↔️ Abe
Sakuma: Abechan has a weird habit. When he wears something for the first time, he wears it without removing the tag! I haven't properly heard his explanation so I'll ask him this time!
Abe: he's the mood-maker and his cheerful side is precious. Even during early mornings when I'm in low energy, my mood improves if I enter the work location imitating Sakuma a bit (laughs).
Watanabe ↔️ Iwamoto
Shota: Training his body properly, appearing then in a magazine, and eventually landing on "SASUKE" (TBS), I respect that part of him. But when we're in a rural area and he'd ask, "what should we eat today?", he gives off the feeling that he's younger than me.
Hikaru: Shota is good at singing and always has the core of one thing or another. He's flexible and able to deal with anything. He may get tainted by others around him, but his core will definitely not falter. He's a cool guy.
Miyadate ↔️ Fukazawa
Date: Fukka is a person who thinks of others. He looks like he jokes around, but he thinks about the surroundings more than anyone else. The people at work who we are in contact with have increased lately and it helps us a lot because he's good at reading the atmosphere.
Fukka: He's a passionate guy. He doesn't compromise at all. I've never seen him cut corners. It's like he's always stepping on the gas. His stoicism is different from that of Iwamoto, his is more about the passionate side of emotion.
Iwamoto ↔️ Sakuma
Hikaru: he's constantly in high spirits. It may be because he has seen too much anime that he already looks like an anime character. He's a chameleon who can change his character. His good at acting and is known for his voice too. He's a 2.5D guy, in a good way.
Sakuma: To tell you the truth, even if he has something he wants to talk about, he definitely won't open it up. He'll wait for the other party to bring up the topic instead (laughs). That's the cute side of Hikaru.
Watanabe ↔️ Fukazawa
Shota: The ultimate hunchback. Surprisingly, I don't know the face he presents at home. Wanting to do this and that, he's full of curiosity. However, he's never done anything that has lasted long so I think the point is about how he easily loses interest. (a grandpa)
Fukka: He has a great social disposition. Shota has a shy side but strange enough, he's good at handling distance with people and he naturally gets close to them. He actually has the biggest number of interactions with our seniors.
Miyadate ↔️ Sakuma
Sakuma: A cool guy with a passionate heart. At any rate, he's passionate! Since he's aiming for the top, he's always at the offensive side whatever the case may be. He's filled with stoicism, ne.
Date: Just like how he looks like, he's full of energy! There are times when I think, 'it's okay not to force yourself too hard' or 'quiet down a bit'..... there's a perfect pattern like that (laughs).
Abe ↔️ Iwamoto
Abe: In contrast to his appearance, he's the kind of person who wants to be cared for. That's how it was even during the play "Ai to Seishun Kippu". If he has a free time, he'd contact us and go, "I wonder if someone will reply~". I think he easily gets lonely.
Hikaru: As the youngest member, he thinks about the group; he's like our database and he moves like our secretary which helps us a lot. He has the qualifications for being a weather forecaster and has finished his master's degree, I'm proud of him as our member.
Fukazawa ↔️ Abe
Fukka: Genius! Despite being busy, he passed the weather forecasting qualification exam that has 4% passing rate! That's a first in Johnny's, ne. He knows what would be the weather tomorrow so he's useful (laughs). He's a genius but he's also the hardworking type.
Abe: The most level-headed person in the group. He has a broad outlook and he looks closely to people around him. I think he's the person I most often go to for consultation. He looks like he's fooling around but he's reliable. He's a man with 'gap'.
Miyadate ↔️ Iwamoto
Date: He enjoys everything with all that he has and tries his hardest. If I were to choose who, it's Hikaru who I share similar intuition with. That's why we agree with each other and he understands my way of thinking. We have mutual understanding.
Hikaru: Date-san has good reflexes, observes closely what's around him, a multitalented and wonderful person. But while he looks like he's perfect, he can't cross his eyes. That's one cute side of him.
Fukazawa ↔️ Sakuma
Fukka: Loud (laughs). He's in high spirits all the time. He's in high spirits all year round. There's simply no such thing as him changing his attitude just because of his mood. He's the mood-maker that improves the atmosphere.
Sakuma: He's actually a shy person and he talks a lot when he's nervous. He's probably balancing himself deep down. That's why, he always acts in the group while thinking about our balance.
Sakuma ↔️ Watanabe
Sakuma: Isn't he the most bullied person by our seniors. Shota's good at answering remarks, ne. It's also interesting how he talks back to his senior using informal language. Being able to create such atmosphere makes him great!
Shota: anime otaku. Aside from him, there's only Miyata (Toshiya)-kun. He's really taking the less traveled road. Also, since he's always cheerful, he fakes it when he's not feeling well inside (laughs).
Abe ↔️ Miyadate
Abe: He's skilful at everything and has a sense of stability; he's like the pillar of the group. It's not an exaggeration to say that if Date-san wavers, it's the end of our group. He's the guy at the core of Snow Man.
Date: Mysterious. The way we think about things are different that's why most of the time when I talk to him, he makes me think, "so there's also that way of thinking~". Also, he's surprisingly easy to understand because it shows in his behavior.
Watanabe ↔️ Abe
Watanabe: Weather forecaster. Sticking to his own beliefs and not being shaken by others - those are his strong points. He watches the tv more than anyone else, he's the type who exerts great efforts. The potential of his intelligent side is far and away the best!
Abe: He doesn't talk much when it's the 6 of us, but when he, Hikaru, and I had an after-talk of our stage play, he talked in a very proactive way. He's the type of person who can change himself according to the occasion, that's what I've noticed recently.
