Shoes and Ships and Ceiling Wax
Ok so. Many things. Jobs have been applied for. Um...stuff is mostly put away. Had a brief visit from Flavia. Text chatted with my little brother about the Kirk costume he's putting together for the midnight showing of Star Trek. He's not a Trekkie, just a dork.
So I spent most of this evening making tiny sushi beads out of Sculpy. I made salmon row and tuna rolls and little omlet ones. I cannot remember any of their actual sushi names just now. But teh fish eggs and tuna are glazed with glue so that they are shiny. I was thinking these could be stitch markers but they are a little big I think. Two of the tuna rolls will be earings. Who doesn't want tuna roll earings? Nobody, that's who. Then I made little pizza beads. Eight of them. Two cheese, two pepperoni, two pepper and mushroom, and two Canadian bacon and pineapple. They are adorable. I'm thinking I'll just sell them as beads.
All of this is for Etsy btw. I don't have a store yet, but I will. My mother also thinks I should make custom doll house minatures. I'm thinking a set of dS stitch markers to include: 1 Mountie hat, 1 compass (pointing...due south), 1 1972 Riviera, 1 whatever year GTO, 1 Diefenbaker. I might add one more thing (because I like even numbered sets) if I can think of one. Perhaps a badge? Freeze! Chicago PD!
This is in addition to the set of SGA stitch markers I was going to make; 2 stargates (with the Atlantis symbol), 2 lemons, 2 puddlejumpers.
Anyway. It is after 1:00 in the morning. I am very tired. Instead of going to bed I really want to work on my SV fic of interminable longness. I started a good scene yesterday and I want to work on it more. Of course instead of doing that, I'm writing this post.
But now I'm really going to bed.
