Cowley Road Food Festival
Dammit. The weather was sooo hot over the weekend.
Ann, Julia (Icklesnail) and I went to the Cowley Road Food Festival on Sunday. This year, there was no carnival, but the array of affordable food made it better. We arrived just past noon and I made a stroll towards the nearest curry. Hmmm... Chicken Tikka Massala with rice! Yummy.
We all ate like pigs that day. Watermelon, Prawn Crackers, Olives, Smoothie... it was all ingested and digested.
After passing the Aziz without batting an eyelid, we trekked down the road listening to the various bands and piped music. Outside the Elm Tree was a band called "Hatstand". Alas. Although they were good, I was not a happy bunny to find that an actual Hat Stand was not on sale. *Ann* You will understand what I mean!

After conquering a few ice creams (with the obligatory flake) we went back to Julia's.
AAAAH! I was totally stuffed! Didn't stop me eating Julia's short bread though.
