OK!

31: Zanzibar in Pursuit
Today is Feb 10. Just realized that an AcGuy appeared in 08th MS team, which also took place in 0079. I watched it a long time ago and I wasn't aware of much.

ANyways, on to the episode. Tianem Fleet will launch a couple hours ahead of schedule. Apparently, the destinations are Luna-2 and the Zeon space fortress Solomon. WB is heading for the latter to take out Zeon's resources and end the war. There is talk about Mirai having a fiance but he ran off to avoid the war. As Wb team prepares, a new member arrives: Lt. Sleggar Law. Guy's like a ladies man/mood maker, positive and kind of an air head, and a big guy like Ryu or so that is what the kids say.

Char's in pursuit! And we have today's new Zeon MS: Mobile armor Bigro. There are also Doms upgraded for space combat, Rick Doms. Pretty much, like the title says, it's a fight against Char's Zanbizar. This is the combat intro of G-Sky, the core fighter + G-Part combo unit (amuro), and G-Bull E-Z (Sayla). Tank in space, good call WB team! Sayla struggles against the Bigro and Sleggar is going to man the main cannons,
but he wants to WB to get closer so that he can hit. Even though Bright is the commander, Law is showing to be a bit condescending to the bridge crew. Sayla is saved from free-falling and we get a very quick docking; Kai shot the Bigro, GJ! Now Gundam and G-Fighter are in the battle. Now it's time for a long range duel between WB and Zanziber.

I forgot to mention, Char is wondering about Artesia/Sayla, and also vice versa. Sayla was hesitating against the Bigro while Char thinks that Sayla isn't on the WB. Zanziber stalls its attack to get closer for precision, and then---Collision attack! WB evades and the beams attack its side. Next, missile attacks to Zan's rear.

Sayla takes down a Dom too! GJ Team! Amuro fights Bigro and faints from temporarily grabbing onto it while its accelerating. Amuro wakes up in time to shoot through Bigro's main cannon and taking it out. Amuro often has open weakspots huh?

Anyways, battle is won for now (lol at Law's shots at Mirai). Next, Dren's Musai Fleet.

32: Breakthrough Strategy
Just to mention, ships in Musai cruiser line mentioned in ep: Camel, Swamel, Tokmel

A sole enemy unit is approaching WB. Hayato with Guntank is sent out to face it: The untested Mobile armor Zakrello piloted by a vengeful Zeon soldier who went out on his own. Alright, a unit without the letter "G" in it, but it doesn't last long against Amuro.Speaking of revenge, we learn (through Sayla's dreaming?) that Char has a grudge against the Zabi family. Sayla speaks with Amuro a little, saying that she can beat Char.

Anyways, Musai fleet (with Doms) is here. Everybody is getting ready; Sleggar is going to pilot A G-Fighter this time whiel Sayla's in G-Tank. Kai, Hayato, Sleggar, And Sayla get beat around a little but take out the Doms!

Amuro takes out Dren's Musai. Great fight against the Doms too. Heading to neutral colony Side 6.

Next, reunions and Conscon.

33: Conscon's Assault
Episodes back we learn that various Sides were destroyed during the War. In the proximity where Side 1 used to be is Solomon, HQ of Zeon's space forces and main target of the Feddies. Also, the 2nd fleet of the Tianem forces are headed for Luna II.

Recon with G-Armor and Guncannon. We meet the mobile armor Braw Bro before the team reaches Side 6. At that colony, Mirai meets with Cameron, her fiance. He's been trying to look for her for a long time and Mirai questions why he didn't look for her himself. It is tough for them to re-unite. Cool Sleggar briefly intervenes as well.

Side 6 is awesome. In the city, Amuro meets with his dad! Had to chase him down. Hey, you haven't seen your son in how many episodes? And you're super cool about it? Asking about the gundam? Well, I guess he isn't like his wife. Hm, looks like something is wrong with him. Papa Rey has been living in a secluded
warehouse (?) too. Amuro mentioned something about "oxygen deprivation" so he must've lost some brain
cells. At the end of it all, Amuro's pretty upset. WB heads over to a docking area for repairs.

Now Officer Conscon has his aim set on defeating WB after he chewed out Char. Before the dock is reached, it is fired upon. The team keeps calling the Doms, "MSs with skirts". Don't they know their real names? Anywas, team WB is beating on Conscon's group really good but the fighting will cause too much damage to the dock. Cameron approaches the battle via patrol ship to stop it so no stray fire will enter Side
6. It's a neutral area after all, Conscon you snake. Zanzibar arrives too but the main plan is to stop Conscon. WB retreats to Side 6 and both Mirai and Cameron have a little talk. Let's just say that Cameron is ignorant of Mirai's feelings. My friend, you're cowardly.

Next, the the prediction of Lalah.

34: The Fated Encounter
This episode is about two kids with high perception.

WB is getting kicked out of Side 6 soon and Amuro went to take care of something. There's rain in a colony. When I watched F91, I thought snow within the colony was bizarre but I guess weather changes are possible through some system. So Amuro is at this unknown house where he meets a beautiful girl that
was watching a bird fall into a lake. Uhh, she's strange. Also, Char's Zanzibar is at Side 6, in the same port as the WB. Oh damn! So after five minutes, we learn that Amuro is at his father's research place. He's pretty gone in the head, Amuro. Don't expose yourself to that truth anymore. Amuro gets his car stuck on his way back to WB and meets up with Char, who is with the pretty girl Lalah. Meeting's a bit awkward but Char tows out Amuro's car. Both exchange names so know they formally know each other, but Amuro
seemed to knew him immediately from his appearance. After Amuro drives awak, Lalah tells Char that Amuro knows he's the Red Comet.

Back at WB, eveyrone is preparing to leave. Cameron offers to use his ship as a decoy and Mirai complains about it. Bright always seem to give off these jealous looks. Yikes! Law slaps Mirai. Errm, he says that Cameron is serious and he shouldn't be so submissive to her. So they go along with the plan and waiting outside is Conscon's fleet. Rick Doms are launched and follow WB/Cameron to the airspace perimeter, where the fighting will begin. Cameron heads back and Gundam is launched. Battle start! Amuro has been very accurate lately. Haha, I just had an Escaflowne flashback, "I can see them, I CAN SEE THEM!" A TV camera is broadcasting this to Side 6 where Amuro's dad, Char and Lalah are watching.

Conscon is getting desperate and prepares to ram his Chivvay ship into WB. Zeon love Kamikaze don't they? It never works! Lalah predicts that the Gundam will win and she so happens to be right. Amuro destroys the Chivvay with his beam sabers. How does he keep doing that?! You stab it with measly beam sabers and it blows up?! Cry time for Cameron and Amuro, who departs from their loved ones. Goodbye Side 6.

Next, attack on Solomon! FUKK YEAH! Battle against Dozle Zabi?

35: The Battle to capture Solomon
Common Naval vocab: Stern, Starboard, Port

WB joins up with the rest of the Tianem fleet (3rd) and receives supplies, hooray! Bright meets with the commander, Officer Wakkien, who says that their advancing towards Solomon to capture it even though the WB pilots are overworked. They'll make it okay, right? As for Solomon, Admiral Dozle receives a new prototype: Big Zam! At Side 6, after a tiny bit of tension with Cameron, Char gets ready to take off and Lalah is coming along. Char says Lalah is "his little sister"...pfff, really? Anyways, everyone is getting ready. The WB crew (Sans pilots), including the kids, are wearing these heavy spacesuits. Front fleet prepare for frontal attack.

So the Public missile-carrying ships advance first. They are in bean cannon range and the missiles they fire creates a beam-disruption field. Rick Dom and Zaku are launched; in response, GMs and Balls (YAY! Shiro's Ball!). Gundam (Amuro), Guncannon (kai), G-Fighters (Sayla, Sleggar), Guntank (Hayato) are launched. Missiles and beams everywhere, and Kai's random girly scream. Dozle plans for the women aboard Solomon to escape, along with baby Minerva. *?!*

Anyways, who will live and who will die? Guntank gets its caterpillars wrecked again!

Tianem's main fleet is doing something with mirrors (setting up the anti-fortress weapon?) and asteroid missiles are fired at them. Eventually, the mirrors adjust in the right aim position and fires its huge Solar beam. FLASHY! Hayato gets hit by some debris, retreats and must head for the infirmary. Fraw Bow helps the injured and Hayato expresses regret in being less of a pilot than Amuro. But Amuro is in a league of his own isn't he? The MF's beam created a gap in Solomon for the Feddies' MSs to enter and breach the fortress. And upon Kycilla's orders, Char heads over to Solomon to support it. Looks like Sayla will enter combat.

Soooo, Minerva is Dozle's baby through the woman Zenna?!

Next, Dozle rampages with Big Zam. NARRATOR, you're spoilering me again!

36: Be Afraid! The Mobile Big Zam!
Contiuning the big battle, Sleggar returns to WB after being hit and Mirai is temporarily relieved from the bridge. Ah ha, so Bright DOES have intimate feelings for her! Ever since that old man back at Jaburo talked about Mirai's fiance, Bright's been looking upset. While Sleggar's G-Fighter is getting repaired and refueled, he takes a quick break. Mirai meets up with him and is a bit emotional. Before long, he has to launch again and gives Mirai his mom's keepsake - a ring. They also kiss. W-why?!?!

Ugh, M'queve is back and is launched from Kycilla's Granda base on Earth's moon to support Solomon. Inside the fortress, Feddies are totally kicking butt until the Big Zam enters. Escape ship with baby Minerva and the ladies are rescured by M'Quve, Dozle's warships rush the Feddie ships.

Main Tianem fleet prepare to shoot the Solar weapon again and Dozle's target is the rear command ships. Battles are difficult to explain for me unless you watch it. Dozle takes control of the Big Zam and orders the scattered units to escape. So the Zam has anti-beam armor and can shoot destructive blasts all over the place. Dozle's taking out ships on his own easily. Gundam docks with Sleggar's G-Armor in attempt to attack the Zam in close range. It works; beams and sabers works as the magnetic field is passed but Sleggar gets seperated (litterally?) from his cockpit by the Zam's pinchers/blades. Amuro gets mad and
unleashes carnage on the Zam. Desperate Dozle goes outside of his MA and shoots the gundam with the rifle. Amuro noticed a dark aura around Dozle before the Zam explodes.

Mourning mode for Zenna and the WB team. I'll stop right there....

Kieko Toda I love yooooou. The insert song at the end is "Ima wa oyasumi" (『いまはおやすみ』; Now, Sleep Well?) and fits well when you see the weary soldiers.

Next, M'Queve vs Amuro...DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!

37: Duel in Texas
So Garma and Dozle are gone. After Solomon falls, Gihren states that he will use "A Baoa Qu" as the final line of defense. Gihren seems upset with his father too.

So with Solomon downed, where is WB headed? To Texas Zone since they are chasing down whoever escaped Solomon. Fraw is working on medical duties and is taking Amuro's blood pressure while they have a little close talk. The characters of Fraw and Amuro has definately changed for the better, I agree. Also, Hayato is recovering well.

Texas was actually a colony known for its livestock and leisure significance above all. Char, with Zanzibar, is on his way over there as well and he's getting a new MS: Gelgoog. M'Quve (ship is Chivvay-class) is also on his way and spots WB. Also, Mirai is back to "appreciating" Bright. Ahem. M'Quve wastes no time
deploying an attack; he also launches in his MS, the Gyan to prove himself to Kycilla. Amuro and Sayla are in G-Armor. They seperate to fight the Rick Doms. On Texas, Lalah is appparently sensing Amuro in battle. Back in space, the Rick Doms lure Amuro and his gundam to M'Quve's Gyan. M'Quve is sneaky and tries to destroy the gundam using a satilite trap before entering the Texas colony. Gundam's shield is wrecked and there's dramatic entrance into Texas's interior.

Apparently Lalah is going to pilot the Elmeth. Char if you're manipulating such a cute enigma, you're an ass. You better not be. He could be just talking sweet to her to use her powers. Anyways, the two prepare to check on M'Quve. Back to the battle, M'Quve is still sneaky by using mines and such. I guess the Gyan really is built for him. The view in Texas is bad too due to the dyfunctional weather system (from mirrors?)
and now it looks like it has the setting of a typical 50s western show. Not to mention, Lalah and Char were riding a horse and carriage earlier. WB team and Sayla in space is doing well; Kai enters the battle too.

Amuro briefly fights Char and M'Quve intervenes. Now the Gyan and Gundam are in close combat. Gundam is dodging well thanks to Amuro's heightened senses. Lalah seems a little distraught and sends a thought wave at Amuro; Gyan is defeated.

Next, Sayla's request.

38: Char and Sayla, Together Again
Today's word is Newtype. For those who watched/looked up Gundam should've came across this word.

M'Quve is defeated but there is still the battle in space. Amuro is sensing Lalah, and Char has protected her from the Gyan's explosion. While Lalah returns to Zanzibar via jeep, Char stalls Amuro. He uses the sandstorm to his advantage and shoots him from a distance, that is when he notices he's fighting a Newtype. Amuro dodges most of Char's shots. They get into close range where Amuro gets a couple htis in. Char retreats; in space, Feddie warship Magallan closes in to help WB. The fleet that was fighting WB changes location but is taken out. Pff. Now that's over, WB enters Texas. Buggies are sent to look for Amuro and Fraw Bow is replaced to get some rest. During Sayla's search, Char enters her buggy, heh. Bright is listening in on their talk.

We finally get some background on the two through the voice of Jimba Ral (Father of Ramba Ral). Artesia and "Char's" father Lord Zeon created the Republic of Zeon believed that the future of mankind was to be reborn as newtypes. He fell ill and on his deathbed he pointed at Degwin and called his name. It looked like Lord Zeon picked Degwin Zabi to be the next Prime minister but Jimba's story states otherwise, saying that
Zeon was expressing that Degwin was his assassin. It's also known that Casval (Char) and Artesia (Sayla) were raised on Earth, which is a reason why Degwin killed Zeon. Anyways, after the story, Char tells Sayla to go to Earth and live a peaceful life; as for Char's mask, he says he wears it to abandon his past and has become different.

Sayla is devastated as Char leaves, but shortly after finds Amuro. Char's Zanzibar is leaving and faces the Magellan; WB picks up Amuro and leaves to aid the Magellan, picking up some box floating in space along the way. Arriving, the Magallan is busted and the commander (Wakkein) is dead. The box and letter attached to it is addressed to Sayla. Inside, is tons of gold! Char gave it her so that she move to Earth. Sayla's real full name is Artesia Som Deikun and Char's is Casval Rem Deikun.

Narrator you're a heartbreaker. Next, Newtype Challia Bull.

39: Newtype, Challia Bull
Today we get creepy background music.

WB is headed back at Solomon, which is now a Feddie base. Hooray! While everything seems to be going great, something weird happens. Lalah has deployed in Elmeth and is really doing damage against Federation Forces outside of Solomon. Battle stations for WB team; Hayato is on his way out too but is he fully healed? Gundam, Guncannon, G-Fighter, head out. Amuro senses Lalah and sees COLORS! Birds and butterflies, like a rave. Psychic wave! Lalah and Char stop the attack for now. Before this, Gihren meets with Lt. Challia Bull. Gihren tells him that he has Newtype abilities far beyond that what the Lt. know. Bull can tell that he is to serve under Kycilia but doesn't know Gihren is assigning him to her. Kycilla thinks that Bull is a better newtype than Lalah and will give him the Elmeth if that's proven. It looks like Bull is going to pilot the old Braw Bow from the start of the Side 6 episodes. Lt. Simus Bakharov is with him, who I think tested the Braw the last time. They'll be under Char; Bull says that Lalah possesses a strong power and that he likes Char.

On WB, Bright has a little talk on Sayla and her connection to Char. She also wants to distribute the gold Char gave her to everyone on White Base. Sayla you're strong.

Anyways, incoming patrol ship. G-Fighter, Gundam, Guntank, and Guncannon are sent out to intercept it. It is Bull, and he attacks. He realizes that Amuro is sensing him. When I first saw the Braw Bow, I was a little confused at how it was attacking but it apparently has beam guns with wires attached to it. And that makes everyone believe that there are two or three ships attacking. Gunncannon gets whooped; Gundam is reacting slowly, but eventually Amuro pinpoints the Bow and destroys it. Challia and Simus are killed.

Lalah wants to fight but Char tells her not to underestimate WB. He also says that Newtypes aren't omniscient. As for the Gundam, it cannot keep up with Amuro's newtype reflexes. Will it eventually become unusable?

Next, Revil and Amuro vs Elmeth.
