Just a warning, I am not screening anything. I'll create wide spaces between the outlines.

You're probably wondering why you see both past and present tense in my summaries. Very rarely do I make these summaries after I finish watching an episode, but during it not much faith in my memory and I GET excited.

OK.

19: Ramba Ral's Suicide Attack
Still a deserter, Amuro reaches a tavern for food and water. Hamon and Ramba arrives as well, and they totally show how cool they are by offering Amuro a share of their food pay. Hamon likes Amuro too. ;) Hahaha. Fraw was in the proximity as well and is caught, but released by Ral even after he realized Amuro's association with her (She wears a Feddie uniform). After Fraw leaves, she is followed by a Zeon soldier and Ral team prepares for an attack after finding WB. Amuro hurries to his gundam.

The offense happens quick! Kai has no luck with the Gouf at all, and the guntank's caterpillar tracks gets blown. Hayato leaves in the Core Fighter (from Guntank) to search for Amuro, who is fighting the Gallop with the Gundam. So its Ryu vs Gallop, Kai vs Gouf, and White Base shows its awesomeness by blowing a Zaku in half by its rocket engines, and doing an inverted roll. Geez!!!

So Amuro arrives in time to save Kai. And Gundam vs Gouf is totally nice. There's a beam sword battle and after cutting their cockpits open, Ral and Amuro recognize each other. Ral ditches his Gouf and it blows up *sniff* Bye Gouf.

Amuro returns to WB but not given any special treatment. He gets put in confinement and is an arrogant, victim-playing idiot. He swears to defeat Ral!

Next, White Base is in big trouble.

20: Deadly Battle, White Base
I could never remember Marker and Oscar's names and you see them all the time.

Anyways, Amuro's being a dick again (thanks for hitting him Ryu) despite the probable threat of Ral attacking again. Speaking of Ral, he is receiving three mobile suits called Doms. At the main mining base, M'Quve is trying to keep his mining activities on a low profile. Kai, Hayato, Max and Howard leaves WB and Ryu follows them, and Bright has doubts of his officer skills.

Annnnnnd disregard what I said about the Doms. ;) the supply line was destroyed so Ramba thinks of another way to complete the mission: Guerilla! As for the reason for Hayato and crew for leaving WB, they want to avert the fighting on there. What?! Well they didn't stay there long! Approaching WB is the Gallop sending Zaku and Cui (tanks). Sayla launches in gundam...WHAT?!

And, Amuro is taken out of confinement to man the guns. He's...taking this rather easily isn't he?

Oh YEAH! It's not as fun in the Japanese version, BUT! WE'RE JUMPING ONTO WHITE BASE! AHHHH!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpI8EuDt5YQ

Sayla finally shot someone! But now that the Cui tanks have closed in, Ral troops begin to break (or "jump onto") into WB. Eh, did one of the radar guys dudes (Marker, Oscar) from the bridge die?! There's a small lol part with Kikka, Mirai and a window bomb.

Interesting events: Ramba encounters Sayla and recognized her, calling her "Princess Artesia", the daughter of Lord Zeon Deikun. He asked if she remembered him and we learn that his fathe's name is Jimba. Reunion is cut short by Ryu and Ramba escapes, both are shot. Reaching a com room, Ramba orders his men to retreat and tells Hamon to destroy WB. As Bright and the others enter the room, Ral praises his enemies..and..and...commits suicide using a grenade. Amuro destroys the Gallop with the beam javelin and Hamon retreats.

Goodbye Ramba.

Next, Hamon adops Ral's warrior will.

21: The Deep Hatred of Fighting
This episode is all about tenacity.

Again, in Operation Odessa, The Feddie forces plan to conquer M'Quve's main mineral base and WB's has to rendezvous with them to join the mission. However, the Ral forces are not done yet. Preparations are made through Hamon's command; apparently, they are going to use a drill attack (kamikaze) on the WB. Gallop engine is attached with Magella Top cannons.

Meanwhile, Ryu's walking around with his injuries but his thoughts are on Amuro. Battle time, a Zaku attacks first and both G-Cannon and G-Tank defend. The pilot replacing Ryu in G-Tank is named Job John...JOB JOHN?!?! Anyways, Amuro is released from his cell to deploy gundam's Core fighter. Mirai mans the cannon, and Ryu gets up again so he can get the G-Tank to move.

Stubbornness! But a strong man's stubborness.

Amuro docks with the Gundam modules in mid-air after they were launched from the base near ground level. Well done!

Hamon's Cargo ship (w/Gallop's aux engine) is rigged with explosives to ram WB. Amuro attempts to push it back, and threw a Zaku into a flying Magella Top. The awesomeness doesn't stop just yet; Hamon becomes a pest and flies her Magella Top behind Gundam, shooting at its backside. And she was doing pretty well, breaking it apart...and you have to wonder how in the hell, with lack of resources, does WB Crew repair the gundam >. Hamon was doing well until...

until...a CORE FIGHTER Rammed into her! WITH RYU as the pilot! Whoa! GOOD JOB! That was ballsy!

Oh Ryu...yep, scene gets pretty sad here. I couldn't get myself to cry; I felt like it, but nothing streamed out. Hearing those kids cry sucks, as everybody else expresses their regrets. After the episode, I checked MAL (MyAnimeList) and they said the scene was a bit overdone. Maybe it was.

The Core Fighter Ryu flew was from the GunTank so Hayato and John felt terrible for letting Ryu take the core.

Next, M'Queve's attack.

22: Break Through M'Quve's attack
Desperation.

WB has been taking out some of M'Quve's subsudiary mines. We get to see more Goufs! Progressing further into the show, more of the advanced units appear and somewhat give the Gundam trouble.

Bright collapsed from exhaustion and was sent to the infimary. And, we have weirdo shower scene. Yes folks, Kikka is flat. Who is General Elran?

Anyways, things get stressful when M'Quve's forces attack. Soldiers plant bombs on the Base to damage its countermeasures. The radars are fine but that gives the Dopps aerial squadron to exhaust their resources and lure WB into dangeous territory. At this point, Mirai attempts to take command and things are obviously stressful without Bright. It annoys me how much they mention Ryu. His death was devastating, but the incident doesn't make up for the crew's inexperience. Mirai and Bright are asking for too much pity I think. Also, there are others who are disable or too injured to help with the mechanics and that makes things difficult. White Base is shot by a mega particle cannon and goes down.

Next, Matilda has a gift.

23: Operation Rescue Matilda
Help White Base! This is a short summary.

Uh oh. Is General Elran leaking info to M'Quve's forces via Judaka (mole). Ugh! Anyways, to prevent WB from getting repaired, MQ sends Goufs riding Dodai YS bombers to attack Matilda's transport squadron. Also, she has new module "G Parts". Ooooh! Odessa Day is almost here so the WB needs to get working again. Gundam is deployed to save the squadron and overwhelmed by the Goufs until Hayato helps with one of the new modules brought by Matilda (she had to land): G-FIGHTER!

It's an aerial support unit that kicks butt. Has some strong beam cannons too. I'm probably forgetting something here, because they mentioned "G-Armor" as well.

So the Goufs are beaten and Matilda praises Amuro, Hayato and Kai for saving her. Haha, she makes all the boys fall for her, lol.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BG8HEd2exbE (Don't ask)

Next, the Doms are here and the Fallen ones.

24: Close Combat! Triple Dom!
We learn about the Black Tri-Stars, elites sent by Kycilia to support M'Quve. Their names are Ortega, Gaia and Mash. Kycilia seems to also have plans with Char and the Mad Angler squadron. And yes, Elran and Judock are leaking info to M'Quve. Because of the Tri-Stars appearance, Odessa needs to begin early.

WB undergo repairs and Matilda meets Bright. Amuro is totally following her ;) Also, she has her photo taken with Amuro, Kai (idea was proposed by him that dog), and some men of White Base. Got to love her generosity.

At night, the Black Tri Stars attack. Sayla is in charge of piloting G-Fighter and she, of course, has trouble. The Tri Stars are piloting quick and heavy mobile suits called Doms. They contain bazookas, beam cannons, heat sabers, flash device, and can hover. The three also have a special simultaneous "Jetstream attack" where they form a line and have one attack with both beam saber and bazooka to make an opening, and the others move in to attack in close. Matilda sees Amuro struggle and helps him in her Medea; the Gundam jumps off Gaia's Dom like a springboard and Amuro hits one Dom with the beam saber. However, one Dom jumps on Matilda's Medea and smashes the cockpit. It crashes to the ground, exploding. Amuro slashes Mash's Dom in half.

Daybreak, almost teary eyed scene with Feddies and White Base mourning Team Matilda. Amuro is obviously...devastated. He needs a hug.

BRIGHT: All hands, SALUTE! (全員 敬礼)

マチルダさああああああああああああああん! (Matilda-saaaaaaaaaan! {courtesy by Furuya Toru})

SMALL NOTE ON ENGLISH DUB "Mobile Suit Gundam": Uhhhh, The Tri-Stars have southern accents. Whut?! "I ain't no springboard!" Kycilia is pretty scary sounding too, in contrast to gentle Koyama Mami. What's with the witch voice?

Next, Odessa begins.

25: The Battle of Odessa
Moles and nukes.

So now we're a little more halfway through the series and White Base reaches the location for Oddessa. I'll make this quick: The morning before Odessa, Amuro discovers the General Elran is responsible for leaking info to the Zeon forces (and the Transport squadron getting attacked) and both he and Judock are arrested. Also, Sayla learns to pilot the G-Fighter a bit better. On Odessa, Amuro struggles with the last two Tri Stars Bbut the Feddies are kicking ass! Before Elran's arrest, he was supposed to hinder his forces so M'Quve only needed to deal with General Revil.

Of course M'Quve wants to be an unfair ass and use a nuclear warhead to wipe out the forces. That is against the Antarctic Treaty you punk! He isn't kidding and fires it, but Amuro using the G-Fighter flies up to it and cuts off its warhead. Good Job! And apparently, the G-Fighter/Armor can hold the entire gundam? How convenient.

The Tri-Stars suck ;)

Next, Char returns!

OK.
