acknowledging denial
if an alcoholic admits alcoholism is he still an alcoholic?
perhaps yes, because the amount of alcohol in his system is still extremely high. it doesn't much matter if he admits it if he still knocks back shot after shot.
but how about someone who's insane and admits it? is that still insanity if you're mind is lucid enough to admit it's gone haywire? or does that make you sane but eccentric?
and where does denial fit in?
and if i acknowledge my own denial...don't i negate it?
