Everything I said in my previous post about working out are very important considerations I have in mind. That said, I know the only way to really see improvement is by making some fundamental changes to my diet. Step one is going to be the hardest: elimination of soda.
I love Coca-Cola. Love, love, love it. There is nothing better than having an ice cold Coke when it is 89 degrees outside. I love Coke. Some have coffee to wake them up, I have Coke. Coke in the morning is divine. Coke with breakfast. Coke with lunch. Coke with some dinners. Can you see a pattern emerging? Can you do the math and count how many worthless, wasted calories this is (about 400 per day- I hate diet soda)?
I am a fucking addict and I need help.
Quitting cold turkey will not happen. The caffeine withdrawal headaches would be severe and I would not be a very pleasant person to be around, so the process needs to be gradual. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Step two: Easy to cook recipes that don't suck.
Need some help here too. Aside from needing a more balanced plan of eating (what to eat when), I would like some simple and tasty recipes that a cooking-retarded person such as myself could easily whip up. In addition to the positive health benefits, I need to stop blowing so much money on eating out. My food bill per month is silly, even though I can afford it.
Step three: Sticking with this shit
I'm at a loss here. I'd like to say that I have self-control and willpower, and I do, but when it comes to stuff like this, I'm lacking.
