Well, that union thing screwed the pooch. The guys that touted the union have attracted scrutiny from corporate, and...
FIVE PEOPLE WERE FIRED.
That is not a small number.That's a fifth of our department. This makes things a bit tighter, but A) It isn't making my routine any different, B) I don't plan on keeping this job past August. I just don't want to burn any bridges, because I know I can milk this place for references.
Of course, this doesn't mean anything to the guys who wanted the union, because for them, this is just a second job, and a complete wash.
I feel a bit stupid for letting them guilt me into signing the card, but, it wouldn't have mattered either way.
