Ту би-Шват - с праздником!
У нас Ту би-Шват - Новый год деревьев.
Вот фоторассказ fotovivo - о праздновании в их южном городке Офаким - Горизонты.

…Пошли благословенную росу
И благодатные дожди пошли
На землю - в срок, в положенное время,
Чтоб оросить Израиля холмы,
Его долины. Напоить водою
Все саженцы, растенья и деревья,
Что мы сегодня пред Тобой сажаем.
Пусть корни их проникнут глубоко
И широко раскинутся их кроны,
Пусть расцветут они в великолепье
Среди деревьев на земле чудесной
Израиля - в добре и красоте…

The Tree Planting Prayer
Our father in heaven,
Builder of Zion and Jerusalem
Who established the kingdom of Israel,
Who looks down from your holy place in heaven
And have blessed your people, Israel
And the earth that you gave us,
When you made an oath to our forefathers.
We thank you Lord for your land
And its plenty, with all good things you provide.
Give us dew for the blessing
And rains that fall at the right time,
To benefit the mountains and valleys of Israel
And to water every plant and tree
And these plantings
That we plant before you today,
Should deepen their roots and increase their glory
So that they flourish as they should
Among the other trees of Israel,
Providing blessing and splendor.
And strengthen the hands of all our brothers
Who labor hard in the holy work of the earth
And in rolling back the wilderness.
Lord, bless their valor
And look well on their actions.
You who observes from your holy place in heaven
And have blessed your people, Israel
And the earth that you gave us,
When you made an oath to our forefathers.
