Woo! A double jumper!

Yesterday was my 4th BC-erversary and I got notification of a catch - my first in a long time. Woohoo! *g*

I hadn’t participated in an NSS for a while, and I’d forgotten how much fun they are. Opening an NSS is a great start to the day. :)

So, I’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to Vespa for a wonderful parcel containing:

Last week, I posted in excitement about my first bookcrossing catch in ages.

Guess what? It was re-released and I now have me a double-jumper! My first! \0/

I got me a Bookcrossing catch! And it's funny - the "catcher" has been a member of Bookcrossing for a couple of years but this is the only book on their shelf. I hope finding this spurs them into becoming an active member.

Now, I wonder how the book travelled from Cambridge to Morden ...

Five reasons to be cheerful this week.

1. We've done some more gardening and the lawns have finally had their first cut of the year, so our garden looks more like a garden and less like a jungle.

2. I received a RABCK.

3. I made a feta and spinach filo tart, which has meant yummy packed lunches at work this week.

1. The weather. It’s been a beautiful blue-skies, fresh-air kind of a week. The birds are a-singing, the bunnies are a-hopping, the daffies are a-blooming and it’s all cheered me up no end.

I was lucky enough to receive *two* NSS parcels from glasgowgal. One envelope contained Morality for Beautiful Girls and The Kalahari Typing School for Men, both by Alexander McCall Smith (thanks also to laura0141 for her part in all this!). Among my wild releases for April is A New Russian Grammar, which I released at the local Oxfam shop.

And I’ve sent off a few books, here’s my celebratory 100th registered/2nd BC birthday book: Flat Stanley.
