last update for a while... I think...
took a rice boat cruse through the river in the jungle/villages for the last couple of days.. this trip keeps getting better and better... we moored up to Budist temple for the night... drank myself stupid and woke up this morning to give food to the monks. watched a sword fight (the local village special craft) and a muai thai boxing match. And was blessed by the elders of the village (basically a string around my wrist and lots of talking).
Also saw a few ancient temples... Millions of bright orange monks walking around this temple that had a strong smell of incense and was stunning with the sun setting behind this massive temple that we climbed!
I do miss a hot shower, normal looking toilets and AC though :)
Train to chang Mai tonight, leaving at 9:00.. its a bloody 12 hour trip though... treck starts tomorrow (was planning on earleir, but oh well)... Elephant rides for a part of the trip... and Im thinking about taking a class on how to cook thai.
