THAILAND
Hey there kids!
Thought I would give a quick update... done with london, where I have been staying with my sister, tons of fun and good to actually spend some time with her.
Landed in Thailand on friday only to find that the city was having a massive water fight... as in the whole city of bangkok having one MASSIVE water fight... so about 2 miles from my hotel I got dropped off and had to walk into a city Ive never been too in a part of the world ive never been too to a hotel I have never seen and have no clue where it is... it was fun though... party for the rest of that night...
next day saw the sight and went shopping... you can get anything you ever would need in bangkok for about 1/10th the price... my dinner normally costs be about 50 baht, a little over a dollar and that is a rather large dinner too.
Had a million people try to scam me... which is funny just to mess with them (I'm an evil traveler)
took a long tail boat out of bangkok yesterday and arrived on the west side of thailand, at Canchanaburi.The hostel im staying in is shitty.... no real toilet, no hot water, bugs all over the place and no AC (its over 100 outside)... worth it though cuz its cheep (like the budgy). Today I went to a 7 level water fall and climbed it... the top was about 2200 meters from the bottom so had to climb almost 7000 feet in boiling hot weather in the jungle :-P it was worth it though... at the top there was an amzing view and I was the only one at the very top looking over the jungle with a cliff behind me in a small collecting hole of water (blue blue water) with a small waterfall going over my back and fish swimming all around me and there must have been hundreds of butterflys of all colors all over the place. very peaceful, and excellent break from the city.
taking a rice barge north tomorrow for a couple of days... so basically a couple of days to relax, catch up on sleep, drink and sun bath :)... sadly it will be followed by a 4 day treck though the hill tribes... im thinking thai massage when that is done ^_^
there are millions more stories, but its time to eat... miss you all... wish you were here... everybody would love it.
