This seemed like fun, so why the heck not. Gakked from buhfly, you answer these questions for your senior year in High School ... if you can remember that far back. So kinda, this is a memory test. For me, at least. ;)
1. Who was your best friend?
Kelly
2. What sports did you play?
I was on the varsity gymnastics team and part of a non-school affilliated swim team.
3. What kind of car did you drive?
I didn't
4. It's Friday night, where were you at?
Usually at home. Or at work. Or at the gym. Or at the pool.
5. Were you a party animal?
Nope. Not at all.
6. Were you a considered a flirt?
Nope.
7. Ever skip school?
Nope.
8. Were you a nerd?
Nope. I was one of those universal kinds of kids ... I pretty much fit in everywhere. I was in the tope 1% of my class, but no one other than those there with me knew it. I was a major athelete, but also friendly with a large number of people in all other strata. But most of all, I was the school artist. Which meant I got to do pretty much anything I wanted and blame it on being "arty." That's a hell of a get-out-of-free card ... and I used it. I loved school though. So in that way, perhaps I was nerdy.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
Nope.
10. Can you sing the fight song?
Uh ... don't think we had one. I can sing the NU fight song though ... does that count?
11. Who was your favorite teacher?
My senior year? Um ... probably the expos teacher. She was young and enthusiastic and fiercely difficult in her demands ... and I loved it. But the drama teacher was great, too, and I was her student director my senior year; and my art teacher was awesome in a totally asshole kind of way.
12. Favorite class?
Um ... probably drama. I had a blast in that class. But maybe expos, cause I love writing, too.
14. School mascot?
Tigers
15. Did you go to Prom?
Yup.
16. If you could go back and do it over, would you?
Depends on whether or not I could keep what I know now. If yes ... maybe, as it would be a great opportunity to pursue things I didn't know I'd be interested in later. But probably not ... I really like where I am now, so there is that. And certainly, from the domestic point of view, life was hell for me in HS. So while I might consider going back to High School, I would never consider going back living with my family the way it was when I was in High School.
17. What do you remember most about graduation?
Sitting with my best friend, and one graduation party at which I had particular fun.
18. Favorite memory of your Senior Year?
Um ... senior play, I think.
19. Were you ever posted up on the senior wall?
No idea what that is, so I guess we didn't have one. Or I've forgotten about it
20. Did you have a job your senior year?
Yup. Two, in fact. I've been working since I was 14.
21. Where did you go most often for lunch?
We weren't allowed off school grounds for lunch, so the lunchroom would have to be the answer for that one.
22. Have you gained weight since then?
Ha. Yeah.
23. What did you do after graduation?
Worked 70 hours a week over the summer then went to college.
24. When did you graduate?
Back when dinosaurs were the favored mode of transportation.
25. Where are most of your classmates?
They are all over hell's half acre.
26. Ten year reunion you going?
Didn't make it to the ten year. Did to the twenty year though. (ha ... THAT should give you a clue about the dinosaur thing)
