This is quite chilling in a quiet, brooding, menacing, and stealthy way.

On the subject of t-shirts, my hubs bought me one the other day tha said "I'm not mean, I'm just not user-friendly." We laughed about that for a long, long, long time.

Glad I could put a shiver to your bones. Cause if this one left you warm and fuzzy, I'd've missed something.

Creeeeepy, says me. And John and Dean's likeness, disturbing and heartbreaking nad uhm, somewhat orchestrated, maybe?

Making Dean the (shapeshifter) killer is a master touch. Utterly unbeleiable and so much cruel because true in this story. And Dean, with all that rage we've seen in DT? (and JA's great acting in Skin, because, really, he was damn scary in attacking Becky) ..he's lucky John drilled him in a certain direction, it could have gone so much differently.
As you wrote.

Thanks so much. I'm not sure how much of my intention to imply came through on this because I wanted to keep it all very below-the-line rather than actually being clear about it; but very much the repetion of John going down Dean's road was intended to imply that both of them had been influenced to bad end in St. Louis by the demon. And that Jess didn't leave Sam so much as his future was taken from him ( ... )
