Look you guys, I downloaded some Alison Lohman icons. I am excited.
In other news, my sister had her job interview today and she is hopeful, but won't hear anything until after the holiday weekend. Boo that. She is worried she is going to have to repeatedly tell people on Thursday that, no, she does not have a job yet. I think she is over-

I shall be completely alone at home for Thanksgiving, as my husband is working Th-Sun 12 hours shifts... but I'll go to Orphans Thanksgiving with my friends on Saturday, and all will be well. :)

Another couple has been watching all of Buffy and Angel with us, mostly in order (it's easier to do a whole disc at a time than to swap out Angel, Buffy, Angel, Buffy, now that we're to seasons four and one, respectively). We usually do three or four episodes, with dinner, one night a week. It's so great to see them all again (though I'm not especially looking forward to Crazy Cordy in AtS Season 4)!
Orphans Thanksgiving gets shared around between us - it's for whomever isn't going to relatives/is staying in town - but the people WITH family got jealous, so now it's on the Saturday after Thansgiving instead. Friends get together instead of family.

I forgot you were doing the whole Buffy/Angel rewatch with your friends. Yeah, then you don't want to go out of order probably.
though I'm not especially looking forward to Crazy Cordy in AtS Season 4But then after that you get Season Five of Angel and that is an aweosme season! I agree though, Season Four kind of blew. There were moments and character pieces that were amazing, but mixed all together into one long ( ... )

Not only will I continue to think good things for your sisters job prospects, I'll hope for your family holiday crap to go smoothly. Fortunately my family holiday crap is staying at home while I go to friends. Go me! I really lucked out this year.

Thank you, I just feel like the holidays have one obligation after another and I can really only handle my family in small doses. Here's hoping all the "grown ups" leave early and we can get drunk and go see Chris Pine on a runaway train at the theater tomorrow!
How did you swing getting to go to a friends for Thanksgiving? That's the way to go! Enjoy that! Happy Thanksgiving!

Since my mom moved back to northern Minnesota I've spent most holidays at my best friends parents house. My brother does a holiday thing, but since he got married and I realized I really can't stand her, we don't do holidays together anymore. It's better for what harmony we can manage.

Family is stupid, and the French-Canadians are the stupidest of all (note for other readers: I don't mean French-Canadians in general, just the French-Canadian members of Dodger's family). They make your parents extra-super-duper crazy along with all of the other problems they bring with them. UGH!
The only good thing is that at least they're coming before Narnia opens so that we don't have to take them with us again. OMG NARNIA!!!!!

Because I love you
And because I know you are lazy
And because I love you again
There you go! Download away!
I have new crazy ass things to report about my mother, in regards to how all the French-Canadians make her maniac when they aren't even here yet!! And also, I keep forgetting to tell you about Canadian-Brother offering advice on J's job situation - I keep not telling you because I don't want to mention it in front of her, lest she have her head explode. Remind me to tell you all the drama later.
For Narnia!!!! For Aslan!!! I want to come home now, Narnia!!!!!!
