Various Real Life Updates...

In other news, my sister had her job interview today and she is hopeful, but won't hear anything until after the holiday weekend. Boo that. She is worried she is going to have to repeatedly tell people on Thursday that, no, she does not have a job yet. I think she is over-estimating the number of people in our family who are even aware she is about to be unemployed, so...
On Dec 4th, my Canadian brother and his family are coming for a visit. I feel like they were just here. It's mostly just obnoxious because my brother is one of those crazy worry-wort fathers that freaks out if his kid makes a single noise of discontent and hovers around you while you hold her. I worked with kids for almost 12 years man, I know how to handle a baby, thanks. Also, as the person in this family who doesn't have a job, it is expected of me to entertain them every single second. Which is bullshit, because my dad and my brother both don't have jobs either, but they are men, so they don't have to do anything. And it also means both my crazy as fuck parents will be up in my house being, you know, crazy as fuck.
So, the holidays have begun.
And since I am bitching - I could not drag myself out of bed today. I felt like I was drugged, it was ridiculous. Then about five minutes after I got up, I was doubled over with horrendous cramps. So, that's started just in time for me to entertain a house full of people on Thursday.
There must be something good I have to report...
Did you see my Alison Lohman icon?! heehee I got like ten of them, including the one pic I used for my current hairstyle. I only don't have any of her with Sam Rockwell or one of her from White Oleander where she cut off all her hair and went goth/punk. That is so me. Still, I got some really cute ones. They make me happy.
