So, on Monday it was almost 70 degrees outside and sunny. It is slowly getting colder and according to the weather forecast, will be 40 degrees and snowing by Friday...Halloween. Dammit! Your witch costume was awesome. I think the vampire costume will look incredible. I can't wait for my own day out tomorrow. No winter coat over my costume, I might be chilly, but at least we're not due snow yet, I hope. It's October damn it (for one more hour at this point, but still, it's too early for snow)

I have what I call every day/party steampunk stuff, stuff I can wear all year. I'm going with my mum to her school reunion (if her knees better from it's op) and she wants me to go steampunk because one of her old best friends thinks it's really cool. I had no earings to go with the outfit, so I made some. I'll put a pic on tumblr. I really like them. I think you will too.

heehee Thank you! I had so much fun with the makeup for that witch costume! This year I was more into the costume than the makeup. (puts up post-it note to remind myself to send out pics of the vampire costume.)

I saw pictures from one of the other clinics and they all dressed like Toy Story characters and even though we worked hard on the carnivale, I will not be sad to lose to the Toy Story peeps. They looked amazing! But the clinic that is the arch nemesis of 'my' clinic found out about our carnival idea and STOLE it and did the same thing. I haven't seen pics yet but I can't imagine it was better than ours because I made a 17 page how-to-booklet that they followed almost completely to the letter. (even K got in on the action). Plus, K says he thinks they are going to disqualify the other clinic from the competition anyways for stealing ideas.

The necklaces still haven't arrived but we wore the bracelets and the brooch (which went really well with Sis's dress!) I got like three different people asking me where I got my bracelets! I got to say, "Oh I have a friend who makes jewelry! I commissioned these from her." I'm sure the necklaces will be used at some point. For real life or costumes. It's certainly not our last Halloween! (I don't hold it against you, babe, as I still have a care package for a friend that I haven't sent from 2 years ago and a half finished painting for someone's birthday from last December.)

Yes. I want to see the Vamp costume. I'm so glad most the stuff got there in time. I'd have worried the post office had screwed it up otherwise. I'm so glad you liked them.
They stole your idea? That blows. I bet they didn't do it as well. But I hope they get called out for being cheats.
