Yes, we know it causes autism and ADD; but she's recently taken a liking to the Big Bad TV. She's liked the Baby Einstein puppets for a while, but up until a few weeks ago she didn't stay interested in any other show or cartoon for longer than a few minutes. Now pop in a Sesame Street DVD or turn on the TV at 8am (when the Tweenies are on) and she'

ganyan din si Nadia!

naisip ko rin dati yung tungkol sa autism, pero pagtagal naisip ko rin na mas naging mabilis yung progress ni Nadia lalo na nung nagsimula sya manood ng Dora. natuto sya kumanta ng nursery rhymes at magkwento ng kung anu-ano (na hindi rin naman namin naiintindihan kasi bulol XD). then yung pinsan nyang si Andy (almost same age) nagsimula na rin magsalita kakanood ng Dora at Sesame Street.

downside is, ngayon TV addict masyado. hindi sya matutulog sa gabi hanggat hindi sya nakakanood ng either shrek 1 & 2, monsters inc, finding nemo, shark tale or the incredibles. lahat kami sa bahay memorize na yung mga lines.

Maganda ba talaga ang Dora? Haven't seen it on local TV, maka-download nga :D

hmm...siguro appealing kasi madaming kanta. don't really know why kids like it

ang Dora nga pala ay may halong Spanish.. so minsan makakarinig ka ng kung anu-ano haha, pero ine-explain naman nila :)

Mana sa tatay at nanay, and she munches on things on the coffee table (magazines, my cellphone) instead of popcorn :D

I downloaded an episode today at mas natuwa ako kaysa kay Annika. Natuwa lang siya sa 1st few minutes kasi may kanta, pero maya-maya hindi na interisado :D

i can never get kaida to sit still for more than a few minutes. @_@

sure she'd stare at the tv for a while, but then she'd scramble off the bed and off she goes~ i'm beginning to wish she'd watch tv more. bad mommy. XD

Ano pinapanood ninyo kay Kaida? Annika likes puppets and dancing mascots more than cartoons, actually; we tried Dora and Backyardigans but they didn't hold her interest. Mas gusto siguro niya ang Sesame Street, Baby Einstein, Tweenies.

we haven't actively tried to put her in front of the tv with a kid's show, but the times we do watch tv, it doesn't hold her interest for more than 2 minutes.

puppets and dancing mascots might interest her. will try it sometime. ^^

really, her favorite thing to do is walk and run around these days.. gives me and aru gray hairs. @_@
