Nu Who Meta: is the Eleventh Doctor less emotional than his previous incarnations?
Is the Eleventh Doctor more reticent with his emotions than previous Doctors, perhaps in response to the emotionality of the Ninth or Tenth Doctors? Or is he just more covert -- "the Doctor lies" -- perhaps untrustworthy in his show of emotions? Does the Eleventh Doctor's emotionality or lack thereof affect how people ship him, or make him seem more alien? What about previous Doctors - was emotionality/rationality a part of their schemes?
