Author's Note: Well, just a little over a week this time. This chapter is…not my best, I must admit. It's a rather long chapter, most of it is filler/transition and there is no Derek/Addison interaction in it, but some of it is important. So I hope you enjoy and I appreciate all your feedback. And truthfully, much of this story hasn't gone the way I intended. Like Derek wasn't going to find out about the pregnancy as soon as he did. And so on.

Well, I guess I just like that it's not predictable. It's so easy to write things going perfectly ya know? And as much as I think I want that, or as much as I tell myself I just want them to get together and live happily ever after, I really don't cause that is not at all interesting to read.

And fics never go the way you intend. The characters just have there own ideas of how things are going to happen. I mean, like seriously, in theory I know that it's suppose to be your story and whatever, but the characters don't care. In my experience, other then coming up with the original storyline of the fic, I have very little control over what goes on.

There's not much fun in predictable. Although honestly some of this is, hee. Yes, making things "perfect" is easy but quite frankly, Addek aren't a perfect couple and they're not easy, which is fun to explore. Painful at times but fun none the less, the journey.

Aww, sorry but it was kind of inevitable. He makes things complicated to say the least. Ha, Derek really does, he has to know that Addison would naturally go to Savvy so follow her, idiot!

Glad you loved their friendship--I do too.

As far as the "Addieface/Saddieface" it's something I've noticed a lot of us call her from time to time when we post about her so I thought I'd sneak that into the fic. And it's a little different than say "Adds" as another nickname outside of "Addie."

lol yeah, it was inevitable alright, I kinda love the way this going the complete oppisite to how I wanted lol, makes it more interesting.
I love Addieface, I call her that alot, so its cool to have it in the fic :)

OMG I am so sorry that I didn't reply to this right away, hon! I honestly meant to and thought I had but when I posted ch 11 last night I realized that I didn't--whoops!

Thanks for the awesome feedback! Addie/Savvy do rhyme, aren't they love? Yes, yes while I love Addie with Callie/Bailey/Richard, heck Burke and even in this fic George, it is nice to see her relate to someone who's known her for so long and been there for her.

Amen about Derek needing a kick in the booty! That's the thing that killed me on the show about him--he came across as rather petty. I mean obviously cheating on him with his best friend is wrong but you know, grow the feck up and realize your part in it!

Ha, Mark had to show up. In fact the first few chapters Derek was such an ass that people wanted him to rescue her (for a time) but now they're not too sure about him messing with Addek. ;)
