I loved this episode! I loved the kate/juliet/jack EVERYTHING!
girl time was totally awesome! there is definately something off about the reason Juliet was handcuffed to Kate, which I don't get (really hope its not lazy writing). Why if they're going to leave them in the jungle, why give Juliet a key? It doesn't make sense? But that means there's something else going on with Juliet we don't know yet. Sayaid most definately not trusting her.
Watching the girlys run, handcuffed together, I got very confused and slashy and then when they fell over in the mud, I was worried this show was taking a weird and dirty fetish twist what with bondage and girl on girl mud wrestling.
And Jack is getting over Kate by bonding with Juliet (which will eventually lead to them making out, *fingers crosesed*) and Kate noticing Jack moving on with Juliet. oh, it warmed my shippy heart it did. and the scene with the 'who knows Jack best' was all kinds of brilliant because it just shows the complete difference to fanfic. In fanfic (and I've already read 1 fic like this) Kate would respond but her being too shell shocked and surprised and lost was for words was much more real. (and i would have hated it cus Jacket all the way!)
wow, i do like to ramble dont i. I'm gona watch this episode again tomorrow, so good.
I also plan watching this ep tomorrow again, because it's absolutely worth it. :-)
I actually have a theory about the handcuffs: I think it was Juliet's idea. I think she wasn't dazed like Kate, and she dragged her to the jungle and handcuffed herself to her, because she was the one who was playing mind games. Ben is for sure one hell of a manipulator, but Juliet is one too. I almost fainted when I realized she had the key to the cuffs.
so Juliet was never thrown out into the jungle with Kate and left by the others? She took Kate and knows where the others have gone, but is just infiltrating the group? (but if so why let sayaid/jack/kate go? they could have just let Jack go with her and kept the others because jack trusts her)
or she was chucked out but handcuffed herself to Kate. If so, why? to 'bond' with Kate like Juliet said. I'm not buying that.
I'm confuzzled too, I'm just guessing. :-) I think they did left Juliet behind too, only the handcuff thing was her idea. She had the key. She also knew the sonic barrier was turned off, and she knew how to turn it on, so maybe she was the one wo turned it off. I really don't know what are her real intentions, but if I could guess, I would say after she realized that the Others will leave her behind she wanted to go to the Losties' camp, and for that she needed to convince Kate. She was the toughie, because she (Juliet) already had Jack on her side (kinda), and if Kate agrees she can go to the camp with them, and Kate didn't say a word against it, so it worked. Yes, Sayid objected, but it didn't matter in this situation.
I don't know, but I hope we will find out soon what really happened, and why.
find out what happened? on lost? are you insane? we all want mysteries to be sold but then they go and add another 2 new even more confusing mysteries every time they solve one.
