I really liked this episode. I like season 3. I liked Kate and Juliet. Further thoughts behind the spoiler cut, just in case.
Girls time=priceless. Kate and Juliet handcuffed together? Priceless again. There were some really awesome ideas in this episode, and some really good scenes for my favourite characters.
This Sawyer/Kate flashback connection? AWESOME. Love it how they can manage this kind of connections, they don't need to meet in flashbacks (because it would be inconsistency of course), but they are still connected through another character. And now, after we all are quite sure that Anthony Cooper is the real Sawyer, this is another cool character connection, and I would bet Kate's husband was after Sawyer too.
I never liked Cassidy, but I really enjoyed their scenes with Kate together, love how this show can handle irony.
And I'm quite sure Juliet manipulated Kate, but what her real intentions are is still a huge question for me, which makes the character totally cool and interesting. I could imagine everything about this woman.
My favourite scene was when she and Kate were hiding from the monster, both of them absolutely terrified, and whatever Juliet and the Others know about the Monster, in this situation they were really tied together. The flashes of the Monster? OMG. This thing still scares the hell out of me.
Loved it when Kate said "I'm sorry" after she made Juliet's shoulder dislocate. :)
And although I hate every tiny bit of Jack/Kate (this thing still brings the worst out of both of them which is just painful to watch), when Jack asked Kate about Juliet was awesome. There's a whole new situation here, Kate noticed, and Sayid noticed it too.
Amd one more thing: Kate's face when Juliet told her she broke Jack's heart. Her face was incredulous. I think this thought never occured to her, and it was Juliet who made her realize this.
And my favourite parts: AWKWARD AND ADOREABLE SAWYER! Aaaaaaaaaaaw! I loved this whole situation, and his little moments with the other losties. And Hurley conned Sawyer, LMAO! :-) This was priceless. I'm still smiling when I think about he believed they could banish him! :-) Dear James, these people are more important to you, you would ever think. And the Sawyer/Desmond hunting scene? I squeed, no kidding. They looked sooo hot next to each other, we need more Sawyer/Desmond scenes, because it's absolutely yummy. And no, I'm not a slasher, it is simply something what is good for my eyes. ;-)
And liked the paralell here: Kate and Sawyer both not knowing what is really going on and trying so desparetely getting out best of their situations.
Oh, and John Locke is an asshole. What the hell happened between him and his father???
Really good ep.
