Okay, so remember those Doctor Who novels featuring Rory that the lovely eclecticmuse posted about a while back? It has come to my attention via ponchoboys that one of them, The Glamour Chase, is also chock-full of Doctor/Rory gay. Seeing as I know I can't be the only slasher here, I thought I'd share a couple of wee (non-spoilery plotwise) excerpts with you under the ( Read more... )

I NEED THIS BOOK.
Damnit, I live in the Netherlands, I have no idea how I can get it :|

Eleven and Rory are the new Eight and Fitz, y/n?
(Ignore that I have never actually read a novel with Fitz in it. BUT STILL.)

Check play.com. Delivery is free and books are usually not too expensive (that's where I'm getting them, and I'm in Spain).

I always check the .co.uk and the .com and pick whichever one is cheaper. I found them about $5-6 cheaper on the US one.

(and by that I mean for all three total, not each book)

Yeah, I just ordered from there. :) About $8 for each book--sadly, Glamour Chase is out of stock on both sites! At least I have the other two plus a sticker book to keep me occupied. :)

(And the 2011 Annual is coming out in about a month! Cannot WAIT for that.)

Or, for physical bookstores, Waterstones in Amsterdam carried quite a few DW books last time I checked there (quite a while ago, as I don't live in the area). The American Book Center might have them too (Amsterdam/Den Haag).

Your local bookstore can probably order them, too.

You might want to take a look at CDWOW as well, you can use iDeal and you won't have to pay anything beyond the book itself (aka no sending costs). Atop of that, most CDs and books are cheaper on there than they're on bol.com.
