Okay, so remember those Doctor Who novels featuring Rory that the lovely eclecticmuse posted about a while back? It has come to my attention via ponchoboys that one of them, The Glamour Chase, is also chock-full of Doctor/Rory gay. Seeing as I know I can't be the only slasher here, I thought I'd share a couple of wee (non-spoilery plotwise) excerpts with you under the cut. I have only just ordered the book myself (on the back of these quotes lol) so please use white text if you post plot spoilers in comments!
(the Doctor is on the phone to Rory)
"...Oh Rory, she's getting information from him, that's all. You so have to get over this jealous streak, it's very unattractive. Well, to Amy, actually, but I suppose I also find it unattractive, yes."
I ACTUALLY JUMPED FOR JOY AT THIS QUOTE, NO LIE:
The Doctor interrupted and hugged Rory very, very tightly indeed, then kissed him on the forehead. "Keep that in your head, Rory. Always. I need that compassion, that point of view around me. Because sometimes I forget that I've been doing all this for so long, that there are consequences." He pulled away, leaving Rory rather stunned at the public display of affection.
The Doctor looked at Amy. "He's a keeper, this one."
Let's hope Moff has read these and will be suitably ~~inspired by them, y/y? PLEASE SANTA MOFF, WE'VE BEEN GOOD ALL YEAR
