Hey guys! I'm here to announce a brand new feature of All-Era Thursday's: A weekly rewatch of Classic Who! Essentially, sometime during the week or on Thursday itself we'll watch the chosen episode(s) for that week, and then talk about it on Thursday with .gifs, squeeing, sparkle text, and (maybe) some serious discussion

Yes. XD; About five minutes after I sent it to the mods for approval I realize I forgot to add that in, haha. You can just comment somewhere on here with it, and I'll add it to the list of suggestions that will get voted on.

Haha, I don't mind. THE MORE SUGGESTIONS THE HAPPIER I AM. :D Unless someone suggests every serial ever. Then I would probably just drown in the coding for trying to make a poll that big.

I think this is a fantastic idea! I'm most interested in a liveblog here or in a Chatroom. (although I'd prefer MattCave shennanigans)

I think that, generally, we should try to watch all the episodes in a serial in one week, because most serials are four episodes long, and then there are the few that are only two episodes long or the rare three episodes. Those are usually doable for most people.
If we choose a rather long serial, because there are some early serials that were up to 10 or 12 episodes long, and most of the early Dalek serials were 6 or 7 episodes long, it might make sense to split those ones up.

I like how you think! Four-episode or less serials in one week, six or more in two weeks. Am not sure how to do five episode ones, though.

Yeah, I agree. I find that 2hrs (4 eps oldskool, 2eps new) is about the best length for stories.

This is a lovely idea! I'm mostly unfamiliar to OldWho. I've been planning to catch up (and watched a bit) but there's so much of it and it's so daunting. I think this'll be a great way to familiarize myself with the old series (without making my head implode).

I was just thinking of doing it privately - I watched the first serial ever yesterday, or as much of it as I could find :)
