Howdy! Yeah, it's been a long time. Get over it! I'm trying to juggle a full-time school schedule, 25-30 hours of working, a fiance, and some time in there somewhere to sleep. I'm in a surprisingly good mood today. Probably because I had a chance to catch up with a couple friends after my calc test this morning, which I think I did good on. So, what have I been up to? Let's see...first I've gotta go see when my last update was. Please hold...okay, Jan. 13. Wow, that was a long time ago. Mostly school and work, and spending some time with Lindsay. We went to the gun show one Saturday last month. I behaved...didn't buy a gun, even though Pop Guns had Glocks under $400...very nice, considering they're usually $600. I bought a belt and holster for my Peacemaker replica (now I have to get some .38 shells to put in the belt), a shoulder holster for my PPK/S (now I can be even more like Bond), a tactical flashlight (switch on the tail cap instead of the side), and a giant John Deere lock blade knife for Lindsay. No airsoft, no knives, no guns. Oh well, it was still fun. Went to my father's last Friday for our Christmas (which lasted about 5 minutes...he gave me $25, I gave him a $25 gift card for Best Buy. Sat around and talked for a long time, gave Lindsay a tour of the house, helped him get an idea of what to get to set up a network, and got the .22 LR handgun he bought for me a few years ago. They'd already eaten dinner, so we went to Denny's with the $25 he gave me on the way home. Saturday was the Silver Beaver Luncheon, where mom and Bob got their Silver Beavers. Got to hang out with Shawn for a while (he met us there for the lunch), saw Kevin, Ryan, George, Bill Hougham, Ranger Kevin, etc. Didn't get to leave notes for my old teachers, because there were classes going on in their rooms by the time I got around to them. Then we went with my parents and grandparents to Gray Brothers Cafeteria in Mooresville or Martinsville...couldn't even tell you how to get there because I fell asleep in the van. Sunday was back to band between services, because this Sunday is our anniversary concert. So, if y'all are around the east side at 2 on Sunday, stop by Warren Central in the orchestra room and listen to us! This week has been much of the same. I rediscovered the addiction of eBay a couple weeks ago, but not for airsoft this time...now it's for radios. :-D Bought a pair of Johnson Avengers for $20, but they don't have batteries. Bought one VHF radio for like $50, and just yesterday bought three UHF radios (which should work with FRS/GMRS radios) for me, Shawn, and Lindsay. Oh, and I get to go fight with Best Buy sometime soon. I bought a new case for my PDA off their website, but because they don't specify which models it fits, mine would fall right out. So now I get to take it back to the store, get my money back, and order a different one that I don't like as much, but will fit. It would sure be nice if they carried them in the store and I could save a few bucks from shipping and get it right away. Oh well. So...I think that's about it. This weekend is the home show on Saturday (free tickets thanks to Lindsay's boss) and concert on Sunday. Have a good one and talk to y'all later!
