Here I sit in a class I've taken twice before, and still stuck with the same lousy prof. Ugh. Cory, if you're reading this, don't take CS 300 with Jagan. Anyway, I have some catching up to do. After finals was work full-time (-ish...last week was my only 40 hour week), our Christmas party (Kevins, Kim, Lindsay and I playing Catch Phrase), snow and holidays. Christmas holiday weekend was extended for me because of a snow emergency (albeit only 1 hour long) the Thursday before. I was on the way to work when I heard it, so I called and my boss gave me the day off. Watched TV with Lindsay (she got stuck at my house Wednesday after church) and cleared the driveway. Went out to Cracker Barrel with the parents and grandparents. Christmas Eve was with Lindsay's family...pretty good. Oh, I forgot. Lindsay and I did our Christmas the Monday before. Got lots of tools, and some other stuff: mechanics tool set, laser level and laser-guided measuring tool (actually uses radar-like waves), tool box, compass for my truck, 1.5 million candlepower spotlight, and a power tool set (drill, laser trim saw [circular], laser jigsaw, flashlight, sander). Cool stuff. Her family got me a Craftsman grill tool set (stuff for barbecuing with the Craftsman screwdriver handle on all of 'em) and The Lord of the Ringsextended edition trilogy!!! *Ahem.* Christmas day with my family was also pretty good: 512 MB thumb drive, new rolling laptop case (already need to fix a wheel thanks to a cigarette butt - no, not mine - jamming up the wheel in the parking lot, successfully flattening one spot. Now it's quite loud rolling down the hallway.), The Lord of the Rings book (paperback, though), Crime and Punishment, The Works of Henry David Thoreau, and My Story by Chuck Norris, MS Streets & Trips 2005 w/ GPS receiver for my laptop, a remote start/keyless entry/alarm for my truck (not the one I wanted, though), a formal dinner and carriage ride, money from my grandparents, and I think that's it. Probably something I forgot, though. The next week was the same old stuff. New Years' Eve we got off, stayed at Lindsay's the night before, went to see about getting the remote starter I wanted for cheaper than what mom paid...turned out to be false advertisement. Went to see Phantom of the Opera at UA 96th St. Awesome movie. Steak 'n Shake for dinner...just like our first date, only the order of things changed. Then off to the New Year's party with church people. Lots of euchre...mostly Matt and Heather, then one game with David and Sue after playing Chris' scissors game. Back to Lindsay's for the night so we could spend New Years' Day together. Nothing exciting, I don't think, except getting a $100 hat for $30 at Henselmeier's on Sunday. That Monday was back to the old grind of work. Tuesday night erupted into a huge argument with Bob, which included him yelling at Lindsay. Went to Lindsay's Friday after work and played euchre with her brother and sister-in-law. Stayed overnight thanks to lots of ice. Finally made it up to Cowpokes to get a liner for my duster and ended up getting a hat band for my new hat and another hat rack for my truck. That's my new favorite store...it's huge!!! Cleaned up the basement some and played euchre and Catch Phrase with her family before coming home. Tried to get my remote starter installed Sunday, but Best Buy is retarded and will only do it Monday thru Thursday with an appointment - and it takes all day. So I'm having it installed Monday. Hopefully I'll be able to drive my old car to work, since there's something I don't want to leave or carry at work. Sliced my finger while sawing some plastic at work Monday. No stitches, but had to make a trip to the clinic. Classes started too. Calc is better because I like my prof, and N323 (computer security) is cool so far. The other two are still boring. Now it's back home to enjoy the weekend. Later all!
