If we were all friends here, no one would ever graduate.

How simplistic. There's a difference between liking and being friends.

...Now he's just screwing with Crane. emptyyourself September 16 2010, 14:36:21 UTC
Is there? Are you able to like your enemies?

Crane likes it like that. XD doctor_j_crane September 16 2010, 14:39:03 UTC
Interesting. You assume that wardens and inmates need to either be friends or enemies? Can't they simply be liked from a distance or respected but disliked? I was attempting to broadly search out how the barge in general felt, but your black and white world view is much more interesting.

I don't think there's a single warden who I actually like. [Pause.] Although Nygma is a slightly different kettle of fish. He doesn't count.

I'm going to assume because of the whole Batman/Gotham thing rather than something insidious.

The Batman is an excellent subject for bonding. Regardless, Nygma's a warden. He would never do anything insidious. It's rather boring.

This is simply for safe keeping. I fully expect to have to returned to me.

Until I can judge how much of a threat my new warden is.

Do you have any intention of using your own fear toxin any time soon?

Of course. What do you need?

Is it likely that your warden will search your room?

Not at all.

Are you wanting to hide something?

Or some things. They're not dangerous in their current states. It's simply some dried plants and a collection of annotated books. I would prefer if my warden didn't see them.

Excellent. I'm going to give you the ingredients for the truth serum. It's too risky for me to keep them at the moment.

Why? Did you get in trouble?

I'm happy to hold whatever you need. My warden won't be searching my room.. ever.

Not yet. I can't risk my new warden searching my room.

Excellent. It would be helpful if you could hold some extra plant samples as well. Provided you didn't get them mixed up with the truth serum ingredients.
