Now what sort of question is that to ask a 900 year old Time Lord? The operative word here being Time, in case you weren't paying attention. You can't possibly expect me to choose one 24 hour period out of a single lifetime much less one as colorful and diverse as my own! As if the entire universe ticked along like a giant pocket watch according to the chronological mandates of homo sapiens. The very idea! If you weren't aware, the 24-hour day is unique to Earth. Every planet's cycle varies depending on its distance from it's local sun (assuming it has only one), orbit, and . . . yes, well. You didn't ask for an astronomy lesson, did you?
Oh, very well! Since you did ask . . . I suppose I could choose one happy 24 hour period from Earth. From this particular lifetime. Wouldn't be sporting to come up with one that could be claimed by one of the Others.
Let me see . . . I think, perhaps, the day I spent exploring the Galapagos with Evelyn Smythe. Ah, Evelyn! She was quite one of my favorite companions. Loved history. A sensible woman with a cool head on her shoulders and a lovely sense of humor. Always wore sturdy walking shoes. Ready to tackle any problem with compassion and determination. She also made the nicest blueberry muffins. It was quite enjoyable, listening to her discuss evolution and theology with Charles. Amusing, actually. But very relaxing. Yes. Yes, I think . . . I'd choose that day.
