Sounds Like There's a Scary Thing at the Door

Hello people!

Wednesday: meaningless.

When the highlights of my day are food and TV, something is wrong. I did get coffee for the first time in weeks, though, so that was awesome. Ugh. Work all day, home at 5:00, picked up the bro from school, went back to get his portfolio, which he forgot, went home and watched TV. Yesterday was pretty much the same. Except that it snowed.

It fucking snowed. All goddamn afternoon and night. I love snow, I really do. But before Halloween? That's just fucking ridiculous. I'm depressed about it, I don't want snow this early. We watched Rules of Engagement, which, of course, was excellent. So good, in fact, that Nick wants to start watching it, too! Oh, speaking of, I went to Gamestop to put a reservation on Uncharted 3 for dad's birthday.

It's Wednesday, you say. And the game comes out on Tuesday, so it's perfect. Wow, this post is really scattered. Anywho, um, that's about the extent of the night. So, today. Got up for work and felt horrible. I'm sick. Plainly and truly. And because it's so fucking cold out, my cough is seriously aggravated. I'm hacking my lungs out all the time. It was pretty bad today. :( I was so glad to get out of work.

At 5:00, I went home. I said hey to mom, then Nick and I went out to run errands. We stopped at Kmart for pumpkins, but they had none. So, we went to Wal*Mart next. Again, no pumpkins. We got some candy for Halloween, then we went to get gas for my car, then Gamestop. I paid for the rest of U3, and Nick traded in games to help cover the cost. Yay! He also got a game (Dead Rising 2).

Oh, and he got to chat with the guys working there about BioShock, his favorite game. He loved that. :] We stopped at a game exchange place across the street to see if they took computer games (they don't), and perused their PS1 games. They have some really great stuff there. I'm gonna go back next week when I have more money to spend and pick up a few things. Next, we went to F.Y.E.

I got a few horror movies and Nick and I looked around the rest of the store. We wound up taking, like, half an hour in there. :3 My fault, I couldn't make up my mind, LOL. But I did end up getting: Fright Night, Vampires and Pumpkinhead, so yay! We made one more stop at LOWE'S, hoping to find pumpkins, but alas. They had none. I'm getting irritated that I can't find any anywhere. >:|

Nick wanted to practice driving, so I let him drive us home. He did a really good job! Much better than me when I was learning to drive at night. I still fucking hate driving in the dark, lol. But yeah, we're gonna go back out tomorrow to try to find pumpkins again, and I'm gonna have him drive me everywhere. He's excited to get the practice, and teh rents tend to make us anxious when driving, so I don't mind.

Eventually, we got home and watched Grimm together. I thought it was really great. Much better than Once Upon a Time. I dunno, maybe it's just me, but yeah, I thought it was really good, and I think the entire season looks fantastic. Really excited for that show. Took a shower, etc. I feel like shit, so I'm getting to bed soon, here. Hoping I feel better tomorrow, but I seriously doubt it.

Before I go, though: check out this site and, if possible, make a donation! This guy is really great and has been very helpful and kind to me. Pass it on!

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
