Don't Get Yourself Killed. Words to Live By
Hello people!
I woke up with "Shattered Dreams" in my head.
Ya know, the Johnny Hates Jazz song? Great tune, but I dunno why it was stuck in my head, lol. I got up at 10:30 and went downstairs to find teh rents watching TV. They were watching shit I didn't care about so I went into the kitchen and did the dishes. Then I decided to bake cupcakes. Did more dishes, some laundry, stoked the fire.
Finally, teh rents were done doing a few chores and mom decided to take a bath. Dad, Nick and I went into the living room and watched Silent Hill. I thought it was a fucking great movie. There were parts I didn't like, but a LOT of it was like the games, and I think, in comparison to other video game movies, it does a very good job at being faithful to the source material. PLUS, they used the music FROM the games.
Honestly, I absolutely loved it. I would gladly watch it again. After that, mom worked on dinner and I topped the cupcakes with frosting and chocolate tombstones. During the movie, I had been working on my second pumpkin, and after dinner, I finished it. I think it came out awesome and I'm really happy with it. I hope it wins Robert's contest. I mean, I dunno if I can even win again since I won last year...
But I hope I can. I worked really hard on these two pumpkins just for the contest. :3 After that, we watched New Nightmare together. And god, it was wonderful. I love that movie more and more every time I watch it. And I noticed something new tonight: the house moves while Heather's sleeping. It breathes. It's incredible, I never noticed it before, but I saw the lamps moving and dad was like, "Did you see that?"
So amazing. That movie's perfection. We watched The Good Wife (with Dylan Baker playing one of my fucking favorite characters EVER - title of this post is an exchange between Alicia and him) and I took a shower, and now, I'm going to bed. BUT FIRST: I WAS ON A PODCAST. All about horror! Woohoo! Check it out and fucking tell everyone, okay? Anywho, it's time for bed.
