I Just Set Fire to Barbie's Face; Now, I Call Her My Salvador Dolly
Hello people!
I had an awful dream.
I was driving Nick to school, and there's a road you turn down where the right lane merges into the left. I was trying to change lanes before getting to the streetlight. Nick said something to me, so I glanced over at him to reply, and right that second, a little blonde boy who had to be about eight years old, rode a red bike into my right headlight.
Just as I slammed into him, I woke up, gasping. It was terrible. *shakes head* Anywho, I got up and got ready. I got up earlier than I had to, cuz I thought I was taking Nick to school, but it turned out dad intended to take him. And someone ate the food I was gonna have for lunch, so I just had to figure something else out. I was irritated when I went to work, but I mellowed when mom said we could meet for lunch.
And then, the day went ot Hell. It was so busy, I literally got sick to my stomach with stress. In at least three separate instances, things were so busy for an hour at a time, that we literally had no time to take a breather. We would hang up the phone and it would ring again, or five people would walk in to place an ad. Pretty much all of them were garage sale ads. It was nauseating. Finally, lunch came and I left.
Met teh rents at the hot dog place down the street and had a good meal. It's always great to see them during my work day. :] I went back to work and Kerri took her lunch, and again, it was awful. At one point, we actually had to have another girl process our charges because we could not get off the phones. Okay, enough ranting, anyway, eventually, 5:00 came and I went the fuck home. I was thoroughly depressed.
I wanted to take a nap, but mom and dad started watching this really interesting show where Stephen King talked about horror movies and how they influenced him, as well as about his own work. I decided to join them. It was really awesome. After that, we had dinner and watched Jeopardy! and Antiques Roadshow. Then I took a bath and it was lovely. And now, it's time for bed.
