You Having Issues With Arousal? Not When I'm By Myself

Guh.
It was a very, very long day. Got up, got ready, got to work. It was insanely hectic and I had so much to do. Fucking hated it. The one thing I was looking forward to was my coffee, and I couldn't even get it. The road where the cafe is located is completely closed off. You can't even walk on the sidewalk - they tore it all up. I thought about trying the next street down, but that's closed off, too.
I don't know my way around here well enough to find a back way, so I just went back to work. It infuriated me. I was in a pissy mood for quite a while. I had to pick Nick up from school when I got out, so I did that around 5:00, then we finally went home. I did the dishes and took a short nap before 7:30. We had pizza for a late dinner, then watched The Middle, Suburgatory, Harry's Law and American Horror Story.
All of the shows were good (especially Harry's Law), except for American Horror Story (henceforth referred to as AHS). Maybe I'm wrong in this, but I was expecting horror. It's right there in the title. Instead, I got porn. Somewhat softcore, I guess, but it was definitely porn; at least four scenes involving sex (one with a gimp suit), two instances of masturbation (one with the dad standing in his room with the door open).
And who knows how many times the dad walked around the house naked? Did I mention he has a daughter? Who, I think, is 14. At one point, the maid walks into the room where the dad is sitting on a sofa, opens her shirt and says, "Why don't you touch me a little? I won't tell that you caught me playing with myself yesterday. Did you touch yourself after? Show me." The best part? The daughter catches them.
I'm not a prude. That's an understatement. But sex is not all there is. Attractive naked people is not all there is. I don't want a show about pretty people fucking everyone and themselves all the time (it seems like the dad's only purpose is to have sex; he is horny almost every second of the day). I want a HORROR show. I really don't think that's too much to ask for. I hope it improves, cuz right now? I hate it.
Other people on Twitter have said I'm judging it too harshly, too quickly, but as far as I'm concerned, a show with horror in the goddamn title should have more horror and less insane, rabid fucking. Anywho, I took a shower and now, here we are.
