Hello people!
People are weird. And stupid.
After the night before's incident, I turned off my phone before going to bed last night. When I got up and turned it on, I saw that my phone received a text that was sent at 1:30 AM. It only said, "Stop." Stop? Fucking stop what? So I texted back: "Stop what? Who is this?" Then I decided, fuck texting, and I called the number. After one ring, the dude answered.
Our conversation when something like this: "Hi, Miranda?" "Uh, yeah." "Hey, it's Mike, I'm sorry about that. My ex-girlfriend got ahold of my phone at a bar and she was messing around with it. Did she text you or something?" "Um, yeah, she, uh, she called me last night and asked why you had my number." "I'm sorry about that, I got my phone back, now, so it'll stop." Ahh, haha, okay, cool."
"So how are you nowadays? You working again?" "Uh...haha...yeah, I just got a new job, actually." "Oh, congratulations! Well, you're a sweetheart, stay cool, all right? Talk to you later." That was the end of the call. I...I still don't know who this guy is. It's kinda driving me nuts. I was gonna ask how he got my number, but he sounded like he was in a hurry. Plus, I feel bad asking when he obviously remembers me.
Guh. What a bizarre event. Anywho, teh rents asked if I wanted to go with them to the bookstore, and I was like, "Hell yes," so I got ready to go and we headed out pretty quickly. I feel like we went somewhere first, but I can't remember where...but yeah, went to Barnes & Noble and sat in the cafe, reading books together. I also got a pretzel and some coffee while we were there. Next stop was a cupcake shop.
We were craving cupcakes cuz of The Cupcake Wars and we read about this cute place called, "The Cupcake Lab." My initial thought was "cupcake laboratory." Wrong. It's LAB, like, the dog. Now, the place is adorable and their cupcakes are good, but I really think The Cupcake Lab, with a laboratory-esque decor would have been really fucking awesome. Oh well. I got
a summer strawberry cupcake.
It was fantastically good. Totally like a bite of sweet sunny summer. Teh rents got some food and then we headed out, making a stop at Wal*Mart. I got the cutest little grill for just $6! It's the perfect size for a panini or a chicken breast. Seriously, I love it. We finally went home and I did the dishes, then fed the pets dinner. Then, I made a pizza stick for Nick so he'd have something to eat before work.
We had some dough leftover, and dad just bought a FryDaddy a few days ago, so I wanted to give it a whirl. I made pizza bites - cheese and pepperoni wrapped in dough - and fried 'em. They opened in the fryer, unfortunately (the dough doesn't stick together, so it opens really easily), but they still came out pretty damn good. I'm excited to use the fryer more often, hehe. XD
After that, we watched some TV in the living room, including World's Dumbest and Suits, where the title of this post is from. I took a shower, watched Whose Line and now, here we are. I wanted to share my little Michael Rooker doodle, but the picture keeps coming up sideways. It's irking me, since I fixed it, but it still won't show up as rotated. URGH.
Anywho, it's late and I'm sleepy. Time for bed.
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
