Been Decapitated Recently?

Oh, last night.
Last night is exactly why I turn my phone off when I go to bed. Okay, so, I passed out around 2:30 last night. I was exhausted and had to get up today to take a drug test, so I wanted to get some decent sleep. All of a sudden, my phone goes off at 4:36. In my sleepy stupor, I thought it was my new boss, Risotto (<--code, that's not her actual name).
I answer the phone and this woman says, "Hi, um, why is your number on my boyfriend's phone?" I was completely thrown. I don't give out my number. Ever. So I asked, "Um...what's his name?" She said, "Michael H****." I was still utterly lost. I don't even know any Michaels. I checked my phone contacts and confirmed that there was no one named Michael in there anywhere. I told her I don't know who that is.
She said, "I don't mean to be disrespectful or anything, but if there's something going on, I wanna know." I'm feeling a mixed bag of emotions. Anger at being woken up at 4:30 in the morning to answer some fucking idiot's questions about some douchebag I don't even know, frustration at having no idea who the guy even is and a teensy bit of sympathy for the girl at being totally unable to help her.
I asked if I know him on Twitter, and she laughed and said she didn't think so. I asked what he does and she said, "Basically, nothing." I laughed, but I was fucking annoyed cuz that doesn't help me AT ALL. I started thinking, Who the fuck has my number? I know that it's on my card, so I was thinking maybe it was someone from the convention or something, but the number was a New York number...
No one I gave my card to was a New Yorker. I tried so hard to think of who this guy was, but I couldn't come up with anybody. I said, "I'm sorry, but I really don't know who that is. As far as I'm concerned, you can delete my number from his phone." She laughed and agreed and I was like, "Haha, um, okay. Good night." It was the most awkward, weirdest fucking thing ever. I went back to bed immediately.
But it was driving me nuts that I had no idea who that person was and how they got my number. I remembered that I met a Michael at The Hotel, and I thought maybe it was him, but I checked in the morning and the last name is wrong. So I still have no idea who that guy was. I tried searching the name AND the number online but could only find that it's in the Glens Falls, NY area. Not helpful.
I guess I'll never know. Anywho, I got up at 9:00 this morning and got ready to go. Nick got ready, too, and I brought him with me when we left around 10:30. Our first stop was The Cafe, cuz let's face it, we can't go a motherfucking day without their coffee. Then, we went to The Hotel so Nick could apply for a job. I resigned, too, though I did that on the phone. It was awful. :'3 I hate having to do that.
Nick finished applying and we went to The Post Star (henceforth referred to as work), where I was told I was sposed to pick up a drug test packet. I was lied to. The lady told me I didn't need a packet, I just had to go to the testing center and tell them I was there for TPS. Unfortunately, the testing center she told me to go to was different from the one I went to for Rite Aid, and I had no idea where it was.
Thankfully, Nick had his phone on him, so he let me use it to look up directions. I found the testing center and went and took the test. It was quick and painless and I got outta there ASAP. Nick and I went home after that, and I went upstairs to watch him play Penumbra for a while. I got some soup for lunch and watched him play til about 4:00, when mom had an appointment to leave for. I went with her.
When we got there, I watched New Nightmare on the portable DVD player. I will never tire of that movie. <3 After that, mom took me to Wendy's and we got a fast dinner before finally going back home. Teh rents and I watched Cupcake Wars, then I joined Nick in his room to watch him play some more Penumbra. That game is awesome. Love it. I took a shower and now I'm watching Whose Line.
