Hello people!
I got up at 7:50 this morning.
I love the feeling of waking up with my air conditioner running. I can't explain it, really, but it just makes me feel so comfortable and at ease. Like some kind of cool oasis, lol. Anywho, I got ready for work and mom let me take her car. I blared Gaga the whole way there and it made me feel awesome. I actually got a fair amount of work done today! XD
I called people, got some people to commit to coming in for their shit, filed stuff. I felt accomplished, lol. At 11:30, I wanted to go get lunch, so I told the guys I was heading out for half an hour or so. Mark said, "What else do you have to do?" I told him I only had one more call to make, and he said, "Just make that call and go ahead home." I was like, "Are you sure?" And he said, "Yeah, we're not doing anything."
So awesome. I headed out, making a stop at Quizno's for lunch, and got home around 12:30. Mom had me do a couple chores, which sucked worse than usual cuz it was insanely hot and muggy today. But then she asked me to run to Wal*Mart. I was happy to do that until I got there, lol. It was surprisingly crowded and I couldn't find one of the things I was looking for. I did, however, get some new gum.
The Orbit strawberry remix and a new Trident flavor I don't remember the name of, lol. Both are excellent. I got home at 2:00 and did a few other things til mom's appointment, when I took over her computer and watched about half an hour of an old ep of Taboo, but one that I've never seen. I stopped when dad joined me cuz that's a show I like to watch by myself. X] Then mom called dad.
She informed him that there was a LeBaron convertible for sale not too far away, so he, Nick and I went to see it. It is ADORABLE. I love it so much and I want it. It's only $1500 and needs just a little care. Nick likes it, too, and he said as long as he can use it to get to work, he's willing to help pay off the loan I'm gonna get! :D YAY! We're probably gonna get it in the next couple of days, I just gotta hear about a loan...
We stopped at Subway for Nick to get food (and he bought me a sub for my lunch tomorrow! :D) and then went home. Mom arrived not much later. These asshole kids come to the neighbor's house to play baseball, and lately, they've been hitting the ball against our fucking house. Dad asked them to stop earlier, and what should happen not five fucking minutes later? THEY BROKE OUR FUCKING KITCHEN WINDOW.
Double-paned kitchen window. Shattered all over the fucking countertop. Unbelievable. I flipped out. I was so goddamn enraged, I can't even tell you. I went upstairs and teh rents dealt with the neighbors. Most of them were pretty nice, but one couple (who are the parents of one of the baseball kids) were total assholes. The father told us he'd fix the window himself, which he doesn't do professionally.
So, teh rents politely declined and said they're not angry with the boys, they just want to get the window professionally replaced. The fucking asshole guy said, "Fine! Do it yourself then!" And as he walked away, he said, "Why don't you go back to Ohio?!" Douche-motherfucking-bag. Dad spoke to a few of the other neighbors and, apparently, everyone thinks that guy is an asshole. *shakes head*
I played San Andreas for a while and ate my dinner, then joined teh rents downstairs. We watched Jeopardy! and Improv-A-Ganza, where the title of this post is from, and since then, we've been watching Frasier. And now, I REALLY need to get to bed. I'm working my last stupid day at Rite Aid tomorrow. I desperately wish I didn't have to go. I feel dead already, lol.
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
