You Make Me Wanna Pick a Vowel, and it's "Oooooooooooooooh"
Hello people!
I got up at 7:30 today.
Got ready for work and mom and I left at 8:00. We got there early, so she sat with me in front of work for ten minutes or so. We chatted a bit til 8:30, when I went inside and she went to her appointment. Some dude had stopped by to visit Brian, and Brian had me meet him. He used to be a professor, apparently. We talked about writing, my tattoos, random stuff.
They went out to the lot and I went to my desk. Did more DMVs, filed shit, made some phone calls. Around noon, Jen took me with her to turn in some plates to the DMV, send out some mail and get some coffee. We chatted about a LOT while out, and I gotta say, I fucking love Jen, LOL. She and I have a ridiculous amount in common: she writes, she's perverted, she only likes older guys, she loves 80s music/classic rock.
There's more, but I can't remember it all, lol. But she is chock full'a awesome. And when we stopped for coffee, she bought me some! So sweet! <3 We went back to work and I spent a lot of the day online. Wrote my blog from last night, chatted with tweeps and whatnot. I got a lot of work done, too, though. At 3:00, dad picked me up and we made a stop for some air conditioning insulation so he could install mine for me.
He did that when we got home. Thank fuck, too, cuz it was over 90 degrees today. FUH. I spent a few hours on mom's computer cuz she didn't mind if I used it. She took a nap until around 6:00, when I went out to get us dinner from Subway. Mmm, sandwiches. We all ate together in the living room and watched Jeopardy!. We watched an ep of Wipeout (hilarious!) and then I went upstairs to play GTA for a bit.
I got annoyed cuz I had to find a specific car and had no idea where to find it, so I stopped playing. I wrote a little, then went downstairs around 10:00 to find teh rents watching Frasier. I watched it with them til 11:00, when they went to bed. And, uh, here we are. Title of this post is from Whose Line, of course. I really have to get to bed, lol. But tonight has been a pretty good night. And work closes early tomorrow! :D
