Don't Confuse Me With Your Reasonableness

Apr 12, 2011 22:21

Hello people!

I got up at 8:00 today.

I was kinda slow getting up and getting ready since I didn't have to rush to take a shower, and it was nice. Leisurely. I listened to a little music, then dad, Nick and I headed out. We stopped for coffee on the way. Nick had to go to a job orientation - he's gonna work at Wal*Mart now! Overnight, for, like, $10 an hour! It's a great gig, and perfect for him.

Dad dropped Nick off first, took me to the bank and dropped me off at school. I went to Chinese and chatted with the prof for a while. Once everyone got there, we started class and basically reviewed cuz we have a quiz on Thursday. I'm not even a little bit worried. I'm actually looking forward to it. We all had a blast together, too. That class definitely makes up for the shitty one I have after it.

Speaking of Western Civ, it was ultra boring today. The prof kept asking us questions, expecting us to answer, but nobody did. I hate when she does that. Just teach us the shit we're sposed to learn and let us go, okay? Ugh. BUT, on the plus, we're FINALLY starting the French Revolution next class! :D I can't wait for that! <3 I got outta class about ten minutes early and went downstairs to wait for mom.

She couldn't pick me up til about twenty minutes later, so I kinda just stood around, waiting. Finally, she got me and brought me out to Saratoga with her. We got lunch at Ruby Tuesday's, and it was DELICIOUS. The waiter was an awesome dude, too. He kinda looked like Vin Diesel (sp?). After that, we killed an hour and a half sitting in a parking lot. Seriously. There was nothing else to do, really.

We listened to lots of good music, though, so it wasn't a total waste, lol. We went to mom's last appointment of the day and I just chilled. Around 6:00, mom finished with her meeting and we went home. We were gonna have dinner, but I actually wasn't hungry, so I just joined teh rents to watch Jeopardy! and Castle. Title of this post is from the latter. We watched Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza, too.

It was funny, there were some great quotes and great games (and great Ryan/Colin moments), but the show is just so scattered, it's kind of hard to watch. :3 I'm bummed, cuz mom and dad really don't want to watch it, but I want to see Ryan and Colin. Guh. We watched Whose Line and Parenthood. Steven Weber was a guest on the latter! <3 And he looked damn good, just so you know, lol. ;]

I picked Nick up from work - his last day at McDonald's! He's so happy. XD And now, it is SO time for bed.

Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
