You Give Me a Raise and I'll Give You One!
Hello people!
I was up til 4:00 last night. It was awesome, lol. X]
I had a crazy, very detailed dream last night. I was in college and was skipping one of my classes, but one of my best friends was stuck in class. She hated her teacher, so a bunch of our friends and I were gonna break her out. Well, something went terribly awry and I wound up falling off the roof of her classroom (which was in a trailer). Needless to say, we didn't break her out.
Then, suddenly, I was leaving one of my classes (which was about forensic anthropology! :D) and I met up with my roommate in the hallway. We walked up to our dorm together, talking the whole time. Our dorm was GORGEOUS. It was like an Embassy Suites hotel room! There was this huge space when you walked in, like a living room, with a TV on the right and our two beds on the left.
You walk straight forward, and there's this huge bathroom for just the two of us to use. It was beautiful. We got ready for our next classes and realized we had to make a stop at the library, so we went to the parking lot to cross campus, which, I guess, is where the library was. We passed a crime scene where a student - a girl - at our school had gotten shot in the parking lot.
There were news crews and shit everywhere and I accidentally stepped in front of a camera shot while trying to cross the parking lot, earning yells from the reporters and camera-men. My roommate and I made it to the library building. It had this huge set of spiraly stairs, but they were really wide and only spiraled once or twice. We started climbing the steps and ran into friends.
I realized that all the people in my dream were people I went to high school with. All of them were going to the same college as me. My roomie and I started talking to three or four guys we knew as we continued to climb the stairs. We somehow started talking about sex and then finally got up to the library's front doors. Our friends had somewhere else to be so we parted ways.
My roomie and I went straight to the desk and got yearbook-type books, which is apparently why we went there. Everyone got a letter from a penpal that was attending the same college as us, as in, the staff had everyone write a letter to a fellow student that they didn't know, like a penpal, and it was sent to that person, and then that person was sposed to reply.
I got my letter from some girl who liked to eat junk-food, watch TV and spend a ton of time online. She sounded awesome, and I was all happy and excited that I got someone cool to talk to. We had to get our books scanned or signed or something, and I was in line after my roommate, but somehow, four people who were behind me cut in line and I got shoved back.
And then I woke up. It was so weird. I wonder what all that crap means? Anywho, I woke up at about 12:00! :O Not very good, but oh, well. I took a shower and noticed that only Nick was home, so I went back to my room and watched a little TV. Teh rents came home about an hour later and mom insisted I do the dishes. She made me a sandwhich afterwards, though. :]
I ate my lunch and then decided to go back to my room and play Sphinx. I've been doing that since about...2:00, I think. I'm tired and bored and I wish I could bring myself to write, but I feel like everything I do lately is crappy. Mehhhhhh. Speaking of crappy things, mom and dad are both being utterly annoying and Nick's got a friend over who's one of the dumbest girls I've ever met. GRAWR.
