Then & Now: 1998 & 2008
1) How old were you?
Then: 8/9
Now: 17/18
2) What was your online presence?
Then: Absolutely nothing
Now: LJ, MySpace, Facebook, WordPress, Twitter, NoFactZone, Yahoo!Mail, Amazon, YouTube...
3) Where did you work?
Then: I didn't work.
Now: I still don't work.
4) Where did you live?
Then: Various places in various states; Connecticut, Florida, Ohio.
Now: I'm currently in Ohio, but we're moving back to New England next year.
5) Who did you live with?
Then: Teh rents, of course.
Now: Still teh rents.
6) How was your health?
Then: Fairly good, I believe. I used to get ear infections (only a couple, thankfully), but other than that, good.
Now: I get sick more often now, but I'm still doing well.
7) Pets?
Then: None, cuz we moved that year.
Now: A dog, three cats, and a fish.
8) Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/spouse/S.O.?
Then: Dude, I was EIGHT.
Now: Yeah, still as single as ever as always as usual.
9) Who were your friends?
Then: Gah...uh...yeah, I totally can't remember...I remember a couple people, but not their names.
Now: Everyone on LJ, people on Facebook and MySpace, and some people from school.
10) Any kids? Any plans for kids?
Then: LAWLZ! I was EIGHT!!!
Now: No fucking way. I DESPISE children. Hate them.
11) What was your worst struggle?
Then: Probably leaving my friends in Ohio. I really loved them. And our cute little town.
Now: Keeping my grades up and trying to do the whole college applying thing. *headdesk*
12) What was your biggest joy?
Then: Spiderman, Sonic the Hedgehog, various video games on Sega Genesis, writing (yes, even then), spending time with Nick (when he actually liked me), OLD SCHOOL TV shows (I Love Lucy, Laverne & Sherley, etc.).
Now: Tyrone, Spidey, video games, MGS, Jurassic Park/Michael Crichton, TV, food, internets, writing, movies, just plain chilling.
13) What did you consider your greatest accomplishment?
Then: Successfully moving? I really don't know.
Now: Huh...going to Presidential Classroom? Again, I really don't know.
14) What advice would you give your younger self?
I know you think you'll never be a slacker, but sometimes, it's so easy to just not do homework. So stay dedicated and remember to ALWAYS do your work. Oh, and it's okay to hang out with your parents. <3
15) What would your younger self say to you?
"Haha, I'll never be a slacker."
16) Looking back, is your life in 2008 what you thought it would be in 1998?
Yes and no. Yes, I figured we'd prolly move again. No, I didn't think I'd slack off as much as I do. *shrugs*
