Who: Ianto notjustateaboy, Jack thedashinghero, Owen docisin, Gwen only1withalife and the other Jack realcaptjack
When: Tomorrow (‘cause we couldn’t wait).
Where: The Hub
What: Jack and Ianto coming home, getting treated and finding a little surprise.
Why: Because! HAHAHA!

Ianto stroked his fingers through Jack's hair lightly as the other man rested with his head on Ianto's good thigh. He sighed softly before a white flash blinded him and he landed on the floor with a thump and a yell of pain. "Bloody buggering hell!"

Jack yelped at the interruption, landing on top of Ianto and groaning. He blinked around him for a moment, and laughed as he realized where they were. "We're home!"

"'Bout bloody time", muttered Owen, heading over to where they materialized, "Jack, get the hell off my patient"

Ianto whimpered in pain pushing at him.

Jack rolled off with an apology, checking to make sure he hadn't made his leg worse in the process. "Good to see you again too, Owen," he chuckled.

The Welshman collapsed back on the floor in relief smiling faintly as Myfanwy swooped overhead.

"Welcome home you two." Gwen said with a smile from behind Owen. She thought that they at least deserved that much after what they had been through.

"Hooray, fucking balloons and streamers", said Owen offering a hand to Ianto, "Up. Autopsy pit. Now".

"Gwen," Jack replied, returning the smile. "It's good to see you again too," he murmured, before helping Owen with Ianto.

Ianto groaned pushing himself up to a sitting position with his hands before gritting his jaw and grasping Owen's wrist. He pulled himself up biting back a yelp as he stumbled nad leaned against him

Gwen's face returned to the worried look that had actually been there before she had welcomed them home as she watched Jack and Owen help Ianto. She wasn't really sure what she could do to help.

Owen helped Ianto stand, letting him lean against him as he supported him. "Come on, make it as far as my table and I'll give you some morphine goodness, Gwen make Jack eat"

Ianto looked at Jack giving him a pained smile, his bloodless face nodding as he leaned against Owen shuffling along.

Jack was dirty and gross and tired beyond all belief, not to mention worried about Ianto, but food sounded amazing. "Waffles," he murmured. "Waffles would be really fucking fantastic right about-" he stumbled a little bit, little black spots appearing in his vision.

Gwen ran over to him quickly to give him some support. "Jack? What's wrong?" Gwen's voice showed her concern.

"Oh, bollocks", Owen sighed, trying to keep Ianto steady, "Jack?. Jack, Mate, are you okay?"

Ianto frowned craning his neck back to try and see. "Jack sit down, stick your head between your legs." He called out

"I'd rather stick it between yours," Jack teased in response to Ianto, leaning against Gwen. "Sitting down sounds like a good plan though, otherwise I'm gonna pass out again."

Ianto's bloodless cheeks tinted and he shook his head shuffling again.

"Stay put, Jack, I'll sort you out after I fixed Ianto", said Owen, helping the other man down to his pit.

Gwen led Jack over to a chair and helped sit him down. "You look horrid."

"I'll make my way down. You help him." He motioned with his head as he tried to reach out for the railings.

"Gee, thanks," Jack replied, rolling his eyes. "Let's see you try to look pretty after a week in Hell."

Gwen couldn't help but smirk at that comment. "Well at least you two are back. I've been worried."

"Fuck that", said Owen, taking a firmer hold of Ianto, helping him down, "I told you, you first. It's a bloody miracle you're still fucking conscious"

Ianto sighed softly leaning against him heavily grunting as he moved his leg from step to step before finally reaching the autopsy floor and shuffling to the table.

"I know. Come here, you," Jack requested, tugging her into a hug. Of course, the fact that he was dirty and gross might've been payback for the comment, but he also just needed a hug. A lot of them.

Owen helped Ianto onto the table, rolling up his sleeve. "See?", he offered him a smile, pulling out a needle, "I do keep promises"

Ianto nodded looking at it. "Thanks..." He whispered, "I don't think I can stand it anymore."

Gwen pulled away quickly, not because she minded the hug though. "Jack, you stink!" she said as her hand went to her nose. "I know you've been stuck who knows where for the last week, but you need a really, really long bath!"

"Going to help me get clean, Gwen?" Jack replied with a smirk. "I think I'm just too weak to do it myself."

Owen nodded, easing the needle in. "There, should work pretty fast", he said, "Come on, Jones, off with the trousers, can't fix a leg with them in the way with the best will in the bloody world"

Ianto nodded, "You might need to cut them, they're ruined anyway." He replied softly.

"You're not that weak, Jack." She told him with her own slight grin.

"Yeah, suppose you're right. A bath sounds like heaven," he murmured, moving to stand up again and pausing at the momentary dizziness.

"Well, I was gonna, but I thought I'd give you the option first before you started bitching at me", chuckled Owen, cutting the material, moving very carefully when he got to the wounded area.

Ianto sighed in relief as the drugs began to fill his system. "Oh that’s wonderful" He whispered lying down.

"Jack, are you alright? You should sit back down for now." She said as she noticed he didn't seem to do so well at standing up. She made him sit back down.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just tired, I think...little dizzy sometimes. I was kinda nauseous the other morning, but I thought it was just the heat, and exhaustion....could be something else though, I mighta caught something, like Owen said," Jack explained, closing his eyes.

"It's supposed to be", said Owen, checking over the exposed wound with a frown, before starting careful work on it, his cynical, joking demeanour replaced by a true professional.

Iantoo sighed pushing himself back up and moving his head looking down watching him before frowning at the scar on his leg. His frown deepening at the infected swollen mess of his thigh.

Gwen looked at Jack a little confused at first and then he expression changed to a somewhat surprised look. "Jack...your symptoms...they make you sound like you’re..." She trailed off, not sure if she should say it. In her mind, it just wasn't possible. She knew Jack had mentioned it before, but she had just assumed it was a joke.

"Like I'm what, Gwen?" Jack asked, tired and a little confused himself.

"Pregnant." She answered.

Jack stared at her. And stared some more. "Oh hell," he groaned, leaning his head back against the wall. "Not again."

"How've you been feeling otherwise?", Owen asked, his eyes not leaving his work as he tended to the wound, with gentle hands, "Symptoms got any worse since we last spoke?"

He shook his head. "Comes in waves." He whispered. "Got worse last night." He replied. "Couldn't really sleep."

Gwen looked at him with more surprise. "What do you mean again? I thought you were joking when you mentioned before!"

Owen frowned, then nodded, moving on seeping out infected parts, then re-stitching and re-dressing the wound. "It could have been a lot worse, 'least gangrene hasn't set in, so it can heal", Owen cast Ianto a LOOK, "IF you rest it"

Ianto rolled his eyes "Believe me all I want now is a hot bath and a warm bed."

"Definitely not joking," Jack sighed, glancing down at his stomach. "I'm not exactly 100% human, Gwen," he murmured.

She stared at him. "Well yeah, but I never expected you could actually get pregnant."

"Leave off the bath until tomorrow", said Owen, "Want the wound to settle. Warm bed can be done, though". He wandered to the side, rummaging through his drawers, coming back with some pills, "Got everything you need to know on them, keep on them or you'll be in trouble"

Ianto took them> "I have to stay like this?" He asked in distaste rubbing the grime on his skin.

"Well I can," Jack replied, chuckling a little. "And obviously I went and did it again."

"Well, you can have a dry shower, I suppose", said Owen, "I don't want you dumping that leg in water just yet"

He nodded pushing himself into a sitting position "Alright Well I want to go and check on Jack." He replied trying to climb off the table.

"Obviously. It's no wonder you're sick." She told him, her surprised expression still slightly noticeable on her face.

Owen sighed, moving to help him. "Come on, I'll help you up the stairs, then you can sit down"

Ianto nodded before putting his arm on his shoulder and standing. Very grateful for the opiods rushing through his system He moved shuffling to the stairs in the remnants of his suit

"Ugh, yeah. All the super fun times we had prolly didn't help," Jack muttered. He wondered how dying so many times had affected the baby. Of course, he was still having a little trouble processing the fact that he was going to have a baby.

Owen helped him all the way up, then pointed at a wheelchair. "See? Got a bloody new one and everything, sit"

The Welshman pulled a face at it. "Bloody thing." He muttered climbing in and pulling his leg onto the step testing it out. He sighed rolling over to Jack stopping beside him. "Are you alright?"

"Thank you for saving my leg and life, Owen", said Owen to himself as he followed him, "You're welcome, Ianto, only too happy to lose sleep and spent every waking hour trying to figure out how to fix you. No thanks needed"

Jack froze when Ianto wheeled over. Shit. How was he going to handle this? He didn't even know for certain that Ianto was the father, it could've just as easily been Owen. Even if it was Ianto, he didn't know how he'd react. Sure they'd talked about it, but talking was one thing and actually doing was another. "Thank you, Owen, for helping him," he murmured, avoiding Ianto's question.

"He's alright, but he needs to eat something." Gwen told Ianto.

He nodded "What he needs is sleep. I don't think you slept at all over there." He replied moving his hand and running it through Jack's hair. "You should stay at mine tonight." He replied quietly before rolling his eyes. "Thank You Owen."

Owen 'hmfhed' but pulled something out of his pocket, handing it to Jack. "Drink this, it'll bring your fluids up right again and it's got all the nutrients you've been missing out on"

"You still want those waffles, Jack?" Gwen asked him, a slight smirk showing on her face.

Jack nodded, setting it aside as he nuzzled against Ianto's hand, before standing up slowly and clinging tightly to Owen. "I missed you, you wanker," he murmured. "And I would kill for waffles," he groaned, glaring at Gwen.

Ianto watched them before the reality of working with Jack's various paramours hit him. He looked down at his leg before wheeling off. "I'm going to see what state this hub's been left in."

"Then I suppose I'll be off to the store. I'll pick you up some other things I'm sure you'll want while I'm there." She said, answering his glare with a smile.

Owen hugged Jack back, slightly more awkwardly now there were spectators. "Missed you, too", he said, before glaring at Ianto, "Don't you dare start bloody working"

"I'm only taking a look." He replied waving him off, and wheeling the wheelchair along the hub floor.

Jack noted the awkwardness, backing off a bit even though he really just wanted to cling and not let go. He distracted himself by glaring at Gwen again. "You're an evil woman, but yes, I would appreciate it."

Owen frowned, watching Ianto go, before blinking. "Why's Gwen evil?", he asked, looking at her, "What did you do this time?"

Gwen smirked. "Nothing. He's just mad because I told him he smells awful right now, and honestly, he does."

"Don't make me hug you again, Gwen Cooper," Jack threatened, shaking a finger at her.

Owen glanced between them. "....Are you shagging Gwen, too?"

Jack snorted and laughed. "I wish. But no, she's Mrs. Married Lady still," he replied, rolling his eyes.

Gwen glared at him. "Now don't start that! Rhys is a wonderful man, and I love him. Besides, he's done more then his share by keeping this secret. I'm glad I married him."

"I never said you weren't, Gwen," Jack replied, smirking again.

Owen jutted one eyebrow in her direction, but decided it really wouldn't be wise to say what he wanted to. Not if he wanted to still walk properly."Jus' saying, you've got a secret"

Gwen's glare switched towards Owen. "Oh, hush up Owen!"

"Nah, it's me with the secret," Jack sighed, glancing at him. "She's just trying to keep it for me, which I appreciate, but I can handle it," he murmured. "Now go get me waffles, wife," he added with a grin.

Owen frowned, crossing his arms. "What the bloody hell are you mad at me for?!", he said to Gwen, then looked at Jack, "You're giving everything in the join the circus again"

Jack laughed. "No, this place is enough of a circus for me," he chuckled.

The glare goes back to Jack. She wanted to give him a good smack, but she held it back. "I suggest you give them both a good check-up, Owen. Make sure you use an ultrasound." Gwen began grinning.

"GWEN!" Jack exclaimed, a rare flush crossing his cheeks. "You! Go! NOW."

Owen blinked slowly, considered this for a moment, mulled some things in his brain, then looked at Jack. ".....I thought you were only kidding when you said you could get pregnant"

"So did she," Jack muttered awkwardly. "But I wasn't. I just wasn't thinking about it, because it hadn't happened for so long."

"Right", Owen nodded, keeping surprisingly calm, "Better get you checked out, then"

"Probably a good idea. It could always just be a false alarm, but he's got all the symptoms. Morning sickness, food cravings, dizziness, things like that. If it isn't though, who knows what kind of shape that baby's in after what Jack just went through." Gwen seemed to be somewhat concerned about the baby after she had mentioned all of that.

"Yeah, and I...you know it could be yours, right?" Jack asked softly, glancing down and feeling oddly vulnerable. "Yours or Ianto's."

Owen nodded at Gwen. "I got a good machine, Tosh suped it up before she....yeah. It'll pick stuff up", he said, before finally looking at Jack, "..Yeah, Jack.....lets' just focus on making sure it's alright first, yeah?"

Jack nodded, a nervous knot forming in his stomach. What if it wasn't? He didn't want to lose another one. And if it was, and either Owen or Ianto was the father and they rejected it...he didn't know what he was going to do.

"Alright. Then I'm off to the store now. Want anything, Owen?" She thought she might as well pick something up for Owen too while she was out.

Owen gave her a small smile. "Fetch me a sandwich or something, Pet", he said, continuing calling her by a pet name desire constantly being told not to, "Might be here for a while". He looked at Jack. "Come on, then", he said gently

Gwen rolled her eyes at the pet name as she walked out of the hub. She would yell at Owen for that later.

Jack nodded again and followed Owen, resisting the urge to lean against him despite how tired and nervous he was.

Owen headed down to the pit again, shifting the things he'd used to tidy up Ianto, before moving to help Jack onto the table. "'Splains a lot of your symptoms", he said, "Should have realised it sooner"

"It's alright," Jack shrugged, settling on the table as comfortably as he could. "I didn't realize it myself 'til Gwen told me just now."

"Hmm", replied Owen, pushing a machine on wheels over to the table, switching it on, before moving to undo Jack's shirt, his fingers gentle.

Jack smiled at Owen's gentle touch under the tattered remains of his torn shirt; he had missed it. "It's good to be home, at least," he commented with a sigh.

"Good to have you back", said Owen quietly, grabbing some jelly, "This'll be cold"

Jack gasped at the sharp coldness. His body had been so used to nothing but heat for the past week. "Owen....thank you for getting us through. We never would've survived without your help."

"Of course you couldn't you're both bloody useless", Owen smiled fondly, then looked at him, "It's in my job description, Jack, keeping Torchwood staff healthy and generally alive"

Jack chuckled, nodding. "And you're the best doctor I could've ever hired. There might even be a raise in your future," he replied, winking.

Owen smirked. "About bloody time, too", he teased, grabbing the roller and moving it over Jack's stomach, turning to concentrate on the screen.

Jack breathed deeply and slowly, calming his nerves as he watched Owen. "See anything in there?" he asked hesitantly after a few moments, unable to look at the screen himself.

"Shh", Owen scolded gently, squinting before pressing a few more buttons, "There you go"

Memories of his last pregnancy crossed Jack's mind as he watched Owen, but he shook them off. That was in the past. Well, technically the future, but time was relative.

"You gonna look at this or not?", asked Owen as he brought it into better focus, pointing at a blob, "There. One baby"

Jack glanced at the screen after Owen spoke, another mixed cascade of emotions filling him as he watched the blob move. "I...I'm really pregnant again," he laughed, putting a hand on his stomach.

"Want me to bust out into song?", asked Owen with a sarcastic smirk, "I can do the circle of life, if you want"

"Owen, shut up," Jack replied, annoyed. "Really don't need the sarcasm right now. I'd like a little support, if it's not too much to ask."

Owen's smirk faded before he sighed. "Alright, Mate, I'm sorry"

"I don't...it's been so long, since it happened, and it didn't carry through last time...I don't even know who the father is this time, Owen. Hell, it could be you. It could be Ianto. It could even be....oh fuck. No, no, no," Jack groaned, shaking his head. "It's not him, it's not..."

"Yeah, well you got me to help you through it", Owen pointed out before blinking in confusion, his eyes soon narrowing, "Don't think about that, Jack"

"I...I won't," Jack replied, taking another deep breath to calm himself down. "Owen...I died so many times while Ianto and I were trapped. How the hell is it still alive?"

Owen glanced at the machine again and smiled, shrugging. "Dunno, maybe whatever brings you back brings the kid back, too"

"I hope so." Owen's smile brought one to Jack's lips too, and he reached for Owen's hand with his own dirty one. "Owen...if it is yours....you'll help us out, won't you? I mean I know you don't want

marriage or anything like that, but...you know what I mean."

Owen looked down at their hands, giving Jack's a light squeeze. "It's not that I don't ever want to it's just...", he sighed, "We were planning to have kids, too, me and her...soon as I got done with the surgery rotation". He was quiet for a long moment, lost in memories, before looking at Jack, offering a smile. "'Course I would, mate, you try and stop me"

A huge weight lifted off Jack's shoulders at Owen's reply, and he tugged him down for a soft kiss. "Thank you," he murmured gratefully. "Now I just have to tell Ianto and Jack," he added with another sigh.

Owen returned the kiss gently, then sighed. "Yeah", he aid quietly, "....How'd you think they'll take it?"

"I...I don't know," Jack replied, nervous again. "Ianto and I had talked about it earlier, actually, in Rose's reality...he sounded like he wanted them, but I don't know if he wants one now. Especially if it's not his, which it might not be. Jack...I doubt he'll believe it."

Owen gave his hand a squeeze. "It'll be alright mate, we'll get through it"

"We will," Jack agreed, returning the squeeze gratefully. "Can you bring them in before I pass out again?"

"Yeah, no problem", said Owen with a nod, "Then you have to get some sleep, doctor's orders"

Jack chuckled. "Tranqs would be amazing....though I don't know how those will affect the baby."

"I'll fuck around with the dosage a bit", offered Owen, "Make it safer"

"Thanks," Jack replied, pulling him down for another kiss. "You need some sleep too," he murmured.

"Later", murmured the doctor, returning the kiss, deepening it for a moment, letting his carefully place emotional walls drop, the worry he felt while they were trapped flowing into it.

Jack returned the deep kiss gratefully and slowly, calming Owen's worry gently with his own relief at seeing him again.

Owen pulled away, pressing a kiss on his forehead. "I'll go get them for you, okay?", he murmured softly.

"Thank you," Jack said, closing his eyes briefly at the kiss to his forehead and squeezing his hand again.

Owen squeezed back, watching him a moment, his expression softening. "....I do love you, you know”

"I love you too, Owen," Jack replied, smiling again. "So very much."

Owen smiled back, before it faltered as he nodded, heading off up the steps in search of Jack and Ianto.

Jack sighed, staring at the screen as Owen left. "Hey there," he murmured softly, touching his belly again.

Ianto wheeled along the floor glaring at the number of stairs in the hub before going off down the hall to the archives hiding away. He breathed out slowly once he'd reached the safety of his escape. Rolling along his mind a muddle of drugs and emotion.

The place was surprisingly spotless considering it had been left at the mercies of Gwen and Owen for far too long. There was a shuffling noise in the archives, before the original captain Jack peered around the corner of a shelf. "Oh...hello", he offered Ianto a small, if slightly nervous smile, "You've come back, then? How are you feeling?"

Ianto blinked at him in confusion before remembering and straightening his waist coat subconsciously. "I'm fine thanks. Jack is being looked at." He replied watching him It was so different knowing about them being lovers and having the man there in person. "Thank You...for helping out."

"More than happy to", the other man replied, "I just hope I've kept everything to your standard"

"You even managed to have Owen singing your praises. I could be out of a job."

"Oh, I don't think so", Harkness smiled, shaking his head, "You're far better at it than me, besides, it's where you belong"

Ianto looked at him. "You'll get used to it. This time. It may take a little while but you will."

"I'm not attempting to steal your job, you know", murmured Harkness softly, watching him with a worried frown, "I wouldn't dream of it".

"Oh I know." He replied with a sigh running a hand over his muggy head. "It's just ..." He trailed off "You can say hi to Jack if you want." He replied. "He's with Owen."

"Ah", said Harkness, "I don't think he'd want to be disturbed" He tilted his head to one side. "Are you sure you're alright? I'm here to help you, too, you know"

Ianto looked at him in confusion before shaking his head. "Why would I need any help?

Harkness blinked once, then cleared his throat. "Not to state the obvious", he said, "But you appear to be in a wheelchair"

He looked down before sighing. "Well I think I can manage. I'll be on my feet soon no matter what Owen says."

He watched him a moment, before smiling softly, nodding. "Alright...as you wish, though you really shouldn't overstrain yourself"

He shrugged softly. "I don't think I can stay in this chair forever." He replied rolling himself back down the archives to let him pass.

"I hope not", smiled Harkness following him, "I think you would be missed far too much around here"

"Oh I doubt that." He chuckled. "Owen would be allowed to throw his bits of kebab around again."

"I put a stop to that straight away", said Harkness with a soft chuckle, "I put them on a very high shelf"

Ianto smiled just a little, "He couldn't reach?" He asked as he rolled back

"No", Harkness smiled smugly, "Tried for about ten minutes, then he swore a lot and gave up"

The Welshman smiled. "Did Myfanwy get it?"

"I think it's her in nest now", he laughed, "She seemed to enjoy it at any rate"

He nodded "She does. Normally she just steals them when he leaves it lying about." He replied coming to a stop

"Well, she's very clean for a giant, prehistoric flying reptile", he chuckled, "More so than Owen, anyway"

He nodded "She is I've been working with her to house train her as it were."

"I'm very impressed", smiled Harkness, "You've done a good job"

"I still say she's a bloody menace", said Owen, stomping over, his hands in his lab coat pockets, "Jack wants to see you.....our Jack...not this Jack...though he wants ot see this Jack too...bloody hell can't one of you bastards change your name or summat? This is giving me a fucking headache"

Ianto rolled past him, "Is he alright?"

"Ummm", Owen decided not to field that question, instead stopping to help Ianto down the pit steps, Harkness following behind.

Ianto rolled over to Jack. "What are you doing to your stomach?"

Jack froze again, glancing at Ianto. "I....well I...." he helplessly gestured to the screen, because actually saying it was harder than he'd thought it would be.

Ianto took one of Jack's hands in his and kissed the back of it before he turned and looked at the screen. "What is it...what am I supposed to be seeing?"

Owen cleared his throat, standing uneasily. "What on earth is the machine?", asked Harkness, tilting his head at it.

The Welshman’s eyes dropped to the machine and his eyes flicked over to Owen in horror. "It's not another one of those alien impregnations is it?"

Jack winced at the horror in Ianto's voice. "It's not alien, Ianto. I mean it's not entirely human, because I'm not, but..."

Owen shrugged, "What he said", he nodded at Jack, "This was done in the good old fashioned way....sort of"

Ianto turned his head to look at him. "It wasn't one of those predator things?" He asked carefully. "You're not going to explode or have something burst out of your chest like John Hurt?"

"Who's John Hurt and what on earth are you talking about?", asked Harkness, frowning, confused.

"No," Jack replied, rolling his eyes. "Look at it, Ianto. It's human. And Jack...I can get pregnant," he explained, unable to look at either of them.

Ianto looked at the blobs on the screen. "You're pregnant..." He replied softly before looking at Jack's stomach touching it tentatively. "Oh...wait am I the..."

"But you're a man", said Harkness slowly.

"I don't know," Jack replied quietly. "It could be you. It could also be Owen, or...or the Master," he replied, taking another deep breath. "And I'm not entirely human, Jack."

Ianto frowned softly before looking up at him. "This is why you've been so sick isn't it?" He asked with a sigh. "If I'd have known I'd never have let you go out there." He replied reaching as far as his hand could stroking his cheek softly.

"Yeah. I didn't know either, Gwen only just diagnosed me," Jack chuckled, nuzzling against Ianto's hand.

"So Gwen's the one with the PHd now, is she?", grumbled Owen where he was working on tranqs, "Could have bloody fooled me.

"I.....still don't think I quite understand...", said Harkness.

Ianto looked at Jack's stomach, his other hand touching it gently "I suppose I did want a family...I hadn't meant so soon but..." He replied before railing off as Jack's words hit him properly about it perhaps not being his. "But I suppose that depends on who you want to help raise them." The welshman looked at the other captain. "Jack is from a time where there's been a lot of interbreeding with other aliens...and so people in that time are not exactly like those here."

"I know you didn't want one so soon, but I...if you don't want to help me I....I understand," Jack said sadly, his voice tight.

Ianto turned and looked at him, "Why wouldn't I want to help you?"

"I thought that's what you meant, just then," Jack said, hoping it wasn't.

"Oh.....right", said Harkness quietly, "..That's....very strange"

Owen watched the pair quietly out of the corner of his eye and he worked on changing to dosage of the tranqs.

He shook his head. "No I meant...well if they turn out to be Owen's and you decide you'd prefer to keep the family with him seeing as he would've been he father."

"I would still want your help, Ianto, even if it was Owen's," Jack sighed. "I love you. You would all be like fathers, no matter whose it actually was. And I'm sorry, Jack. I know it's a lot to take in."

Owen remained silent on the matter. This hadn't been spoke about amongst them out in the open before, let alone with the added little surprise. He sighed, carefully measuring out the drug.

"It's....alright, James", murmured Harkness, "I'm getting used to things out of the ordinary"

Oh..." He replied softly before looking at the screen. "It'll be confused to say the least." He murmured before looking at Owen and then Captain Harkness before going back to his own Jack. "You should get some sleep. Are you staying here tonight or do you want to come home with me?"

"I'd...I'd like to stay with you, if you don't mind," Jack said quietly. "Owen's preparing the tranqs for me, I can take them there."

Ianto nodded relieved "Alright." He whispered leaning forward and kissing his forehead

"Make sure he gets plenty of water before he goes to sleep", said Owen, handing Jack the tranqs, "You know how to administer them, yeah?"

"'Course I do. Anything I should do for Ianto?" he murmured, glancing at him.

Ianto nodded, "Yes we'll be alright. Up you get Jack."

"Yeah, no bloody walking about", said Owen, casting a firm look at the Welshman, "Or trying to do too bloody much"

Ianto frowned, "I'll be fine." He replied

Jack chuckled, wiping the cold jelly from the ultrasound off before slowly getting off the table. "I'll make sure he stays put. Thank you, Owen," he said again, kissing him only briefly for Ianto's sake.

He then hugged Jack. "I missed you," he murmured.

Owen returned the kiss then shrugged awkwardly, stepping aside.

"I missed you too", the other captain smiled, returning the hug, "You should get some rest"

Ianto rolled to the steps letting the three have their moment

Jack pressed a soft kiss to Captain Harkness's lips as well, before stepping back and following Ianto. "You get some sleep too, you two!" he called back to them, shaking a finger.

"Sleep is for the weak", responded Owen with smirk, "'Sides, gotta work out whole new ways of keeping you healthy now there's two of you"

Harkness returned the kiss, then smiled softly. "Rest well"

"And you'll do that better if you sleep first," Jack replied, scolding him. "Go, sleep, captain's orders! And I will, Jack," he promised, smiling back.

"Like I ever listen to your fucking orders", smirked Owen.

"Take pity on a poor pregnant man," Jack huffed, glaring at him.

"...That is so not going to work forever and completely constitutes as cheating", sulked Owen folding his arms.

"I always cheat," Jack reminded him, smirking.

"Fucker", Owen smirked back.

"Bastard," Jack retorted, grinning.

Owen gave the sweetest smile imaginable, before delicately holding out a middle finger to him.

"Don't make me come over there and bite off that finger," Jack warned him.

"You don't know where it's been", Owen retorted, his smirk growing as Harkness glanced between them, well, it was definitely different to how his own troops had behaved towards himself.

"Oh I know exactly where it's been, Harper," Jack replied, his own smirk matching Owen's.

Ianto looked at them all before sighing and deciding to try and use the wall and push himself up to his feet to get up the stairs, before stumbling.

Owen smirked, before catching Ianto's movements. "OI!, what the fuck did I just fucking tell you?"

Ianto landed back in the chair with a thump. "I had the wall. Was just seeing if I could that’s all."

Jack rolled his eyes, before going to help Ianto get up the stairs. "Time to go home," he murmured, before another rare flush crossed his cheeks. It was the first time he'd ever referenced Ianto's place as "home" as opposed to the hub. "I mean, your house," he added, embarrassed.

Ianto smiled at him surprised. "You can call it home if you like." He whispered looking up at him from where he sat

Owen scowled, glaring at the Welshman as he was moved. "No seeing, no walking, no trying to walk, no using your leg At. Fucking. All", he growled, "Am I being clear? Don't make me fucking strap you in it"

Ianto rolled his eyes. "Fine." He grumped settling back as he was pushed about.

"I'd like that," Jack replied, smiling back and kissing Ianto. "Don't worry, Owen, he won't move an inch, I promise."

"Make sure he doesn't", scowled Owen, "There's only so much I can do to fix it before I have to amputate the fucking thing"

Ianto kissed him back for the first time properly since they'd returned. "Okay." He whispered as he was pushed up.

"Bye Owen," Jack replied, shaking his head. "Get some sleep. You too, Jack," he added, nodding to the other captain before wheeling Ianto gently out of the hub.
